I attended the fifth show of the Gold Dust Tour and I have to say out of all the Stevie concerts I have been to, this was the best one. I walked right to the Borgata Event Center and guess who I met, Waddy Wachtel. I took a picture with him and told him I was only thirteen. He was amazed that I was six feet tall. I also told him to look for me during Edge because I was in third row and did, he played his guitar right in front of me and smiled. After I took the picture with Waddy, Brett Tuggle came running down the stairs. He ran to fast to get away from the crowd. I finally got up the escalator, and then I met Jimmy Paxon and took a picture with him. I told him I loved the hair and then he left. After meeting Waddy and Jimmy, a purchased the Gold Dust Tour t-shirt with the TISL logo and a Gold Dust Tour keychain. My mother and I walked into the doors and found our seats closer to Stevie than ever. We were row 3 center. I think Vanessa Carlton came on at about 8:00. She was very good my only dislike is that she had a dirty mouth at such young age. After Vanessa left, The crew rearranged the stage and the lights dimmed. everybody was up and dancing for Bootylicious. Dreams remix came on and everyone cheered as Stevie came on. She opened with Enchanted and wore a black sparkle top with a black dress and her Reeboks. She then played Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, singing it to Waddy. Outside The Rain went right into Dreams and Stevie did a hula dance in between them. Stevie left for a wardrobe change and came back for Rhiannon. It had a beautiful piano intro and kicked right into the guitar version. Towards the end Stevie unwinded her sleeves and did her gypsy dance. With her sleeves unwinded, Stevie rocked sorcerer and repeatedly said," In my misery." Stevie came back out with her black and gold dress and polka dot shawl for Stand Back. She did twirl, twirl, twirl... and did a high kick. Stevie took off her shawl and left her black and gold dress on. She then sang Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You and dedicated it to the people of Africa. Stevie threw on her Gold Dust shawl and mystified us with Gold Dust Woman and waved her shawl back and forth over Waddy. Stevie brought back Circle dance from the joint tour with Don Henley and told us that she always wanted to perform this song and now her dreams came true. Stevie showed us her wild side with Fall From Grace. She held the notes and used her fist this was an excellent performance. Landslide was great and the clips behind her were her old family and baby pictures. After Landslide, my mother and I walked to the stage and grabbed a spot for Edge. the crowd was aggressive and we were separated. Stevie came out with her black top, black jacket, and cream, colored layered dress. When she did her Edge walk this inconsiderate man was pushing me and she missed me, I screamed,"Please Stevie!" and she grabbed my hand and smiled. I told her that I loved her and she walked on away and grabbed my mother's hand. This certainly was a dream come true. Stevie came out for the first encore Rock and Roll and wore platform shoes, studded pants,a skirt, a black jacket, and a red and black feathered top hat. She moved her legs a lot and left the crowd in awe. She came back for the last encore and best song of the night, Beauty and the Beast. She wore her Victorian cloak and rolled her hair up. The set was beautiful: it was dark, was lit by candelabras, and showed film clips from the original motion picture of the French version of Beauty and the Beast, which is one of Stevie's favorite movies. Stevie and the band did their final bows and said goodbye. I want to thank Stevie for a heavenly night and I love you!

I have been a huge fan of Stevie's since the 80's. Her words and power have helped me through so many times. I can't tell you. I am recently divorced and have two little boys. My heart was broken. I look at life differently now and am stronger. Stevie, you got me through as you always have. My dad went with me to the 7/1 Borgata show. He cried during Landslide. He knows how close you are to your parents Stevie, and with my pain and our closeness, he just let loose. As I have seen many shows around the country through the years, this show was one of the best. I have told you Stevie that you are my earth angel, "...... some of them are here on earth.....". I will never forget the following moment: I left my dad to go to the front during Edge of Seventeen. As Stevie approached my tears were streaming, I could not stop them. The strength that I lean on was before me. She reached for my hand and said, " Don't cry...its going to be ok." Stevie, I love you and will never forget what you said to me. I look forward to the future and your writing. You are the poet of all poets. Look forward to the future...and meeting you again....

Summer
I arrived at Boston South Station @ 12:30 on Thursday June 30, only to arrive to find that they had messed up my tickets and had nothing to offer me in return. Thinking quickly I walked upstairs to Greyhound only to find there were no busses for this intensely busy Holiday weekend. So,... I hopped back on the bus to my car and off I went, alone but with the accompaniment with Stevie's TISL CD. Bummed out I left at 1:30. Arrived in Atlantic City at 9:50 pm. Missed the whole show. However, I cam right in @ my very favorite song from that album (CD) FALL FROM GRACE. So, forgetting everything I went through and the incredibly long 9 hour drive I started to dance my little bare feet off. I had a great seat. Stevie did a great job on Beauty and the Beast it was the first time that this song had effected me and I actually cried. IT WAS THAT BEAUTIFUL!! So she did the ROCK AND ROLL Led I met Sharon at the bottom of the stairway and Thanked her for her music and her and Stevie's voices and how healing they both are. Nice Lady!! So, approachable!! I was nervous and had to push the words up out of my vocal cords to say Thank you!! I asked Sharon to explain to Stevie that the crochet Roses were made by my grandmother when I was fifteen. She said Thank you and said tell your grandmother and I said she had passed away when I was fifteen. I didn't expect to she her or Stevie so I did not have the Shawls with me that I made for Stevie. SO, the show was over and I was bummed I missed the whole thing and my cell phone was dead and I was unable to call my daughter to tell her I arrived safely. Into the GyPSY BAR I WENT only to find the band there and no outlet anywhere for my phone. Then a runner there found a outlet and I was able to call home and wake my daughter @ 3am only to find her up waiting for my call. "Did you have fun mom? " she said, "Of course I did Sweetie, tell Nonni I won't be home til tomorrow, sleep well. I Love you Mom and i said " I love you to sweet Stevie dreams I said. So, there I was sitting there alone while a man runner over heard me tell my daughter I was going to spend the night in the car because the rooms were way too expensive and there were not any anyway. I wasn't going to stay in any other place cause I really didn't feel to safe down there. Well ,guess what this guy gave me his room. OMG I CRIED and they had awesome bedding and the towels were HUGE. It had a beautiful view!!! So, off to bed I went around 5 am. The next day July 1st the totally unexpected happened as I was asked to take Stevie's jacket to the cleaners. Did I cuddle it YES IT WAS MADE IN ITALY and I am ITALIAN. hehe so, after running some errands I had twenty bucks in my pocket and I was tired and starving. IM TIRED IM THIRSTY HEY YEAH.... IM WILD EYED IN THIS HAPPINESS I WAS FEELING hey yeah....timeless. hehe OKAY so what does this guy do for me the runner he explains to Mindy that I missed the show I don't know what transpired between them but I got a ticket from Mind SEC 200 ROW 5 SEAT 6!!! OMG I was so happy. So, I played a CLEOPATRA slot machine and won 300.00$ IMAGINE. all the people... living life in peace. How happy was I!!! I went to the show Had such a good time!! SHe was in better form tonight at this show than on Thursday. So, Waddy stood in front of me backwards I had a great view lol THANK YOU WADDY!! I met him in the hallway and he let me take a picture of him and he called me BABE. SO, EDGE OF SEVENTEEN came on and stevie was going to the right of the stage I was on the left. I have seen her so many times and I have never ever gotten to shake her hand ever in my life time. So, here comes down the line shaking every ones hand. I am jumping up like a jelly bean STEVIE whips off her thing... what ever that thing is she had on her ear or hip and lends over to get me. I handed her the Shawl and we held each other in our eyes for what seemed to be a very very longtime. Both of our arms were entangled like a twisted vanilla and chocolate soft serve. hehe Total peace was there between us. I only wish my vocal cords worked and that my face was a little less serious. I wish I had a huge smile for her as I did a moment before. I can't remember the feeling of the experience and I wish my spirit was looking from afar so I could see the whole thing again! I realized something about myself. I have brown eyes ( i STEVIEsaid THANK YOU. I never expected her to stop near me as I have seen every single solitaire solo show stevie has every had every time she comes around!! I felt so high after that on the way home I had to pull over and sleep I as caught in the storm of something very beautiful. Thank you stevie it was wonderful to finally met you. Thank you Mindy for that ticket and Thank you Sharon for being so incredibly approachable and nice. This was my 10th time seeing Stevie(with and without the Mac), and I am still wanting more! What a great experience to see her in a smaller, more intimate venue. I was at the June 3 show in Philadelphia with Don Henley. It would have been nice to have a different set list, but I did enjoy every minute of it. I originally won my July 1 tickets on the radio. They were Section 100, Row 19–the last row on the floor, all the way to the left–pretty far. I had to watch the big screen. Then during Sorcerer, a couple was leaving the show(imagine!) and tapped me on the shoulder. They offered me their tickets, saying that they were up front. What luck! My friend and I then moved to section 300, Row 10–directly in front of Stevie! Now THAT’S a concert! The seats in front of us were empty, so another upgrade to Row 9! I had such a great time. My only regret is that I didn’t get up there during Edge of Seventeen for a touch of her hand. There is always a next time:) Stevie looked beautiful, as always, and here voice sounded incredibly strong. Like others, the video presentation during Landslide was a highlight for me. I still can’t get past HAEWAFY not being at the end, but Beauty and the Beast was such a chilling and haunting performance that I will forgive her. I got an interesting perspective from my friend who has never seen Stevie in concert and never bought an album. She said, "Why does she cover other people’s songs when she has so many of her own?" I sort of agree, though I do love hearing Need to Know(which she did not do by the way–lucky for us or we wouldn’t have gotten Landslide). I was hoping she would pull out another gem like she did with Beautiful Child during last year’s Fleetwood Mac tour. I will continue to dream about seeing and hearing her perform Crystal or Sleeping Angel or Nightbird or one of my favorite rarities from Rock a Little some sweet day. Maybe there will even be a Buckingham Nicks tour some time in the future. I can wish for it! There can be no mistake that "you fill the room with the wind and the rain and the water!" Thanks again, Stevie, for remaining.

Stevie was absolutely breathtaking at the Borgata in Atlantic City on Friday night. She was everything I expected her to be graceful - astonishing - vibrant - stunning - beautiful - carefree - strong - enchanting plus she had such enthusiasm and passion as she gave us an excellent performance. The anticipation that I built for my 1st ever Stevie Nicks concert was all that and so much more! I've been a fan of her songs (Solo & Fleetwood Mac) for over 25 years now and to finally see Stevie in concert was a dream come true for me. Vanessa Carlton was able to capture the audience; she was witty and opened with Just an Ordinary Day followed by her latest music. After Vanessa, Stevie finally made it out on the stage - instantly everyone jumped out of their seats in anticipation for what Stevie could do for us as she gave an incredible performance. She came out singing strong and ended just as strong. She talked about "ONE", she twirled, she kicked, she had a sense of humor and I never saw any performer introduce their band the way she did - she got on a personal level which goes to show that Stevie enjoys what she does and her fans to share her life with us. Speaking of sharing her life, when she shared her pictures from her childhood through the years, it gave me tears and chills, even today I get chills thinking and talking about it. We are all getting older but seeing it in the perspective that Stevie presented it brought tears to my eyes, absolutely incredible! The entire concert was beautifully done with great taste and she never lost her enthusiasm. Her one encore song just blew me away by Led Zeppelin, she rock and rolled at the Borgata! Sadly the concert had to end singing Beauty and Beast. Although Edge of Seventeen remains my favorite song and I know how fortunate I was to have her perform it at the Borgata Friday night. Stevie successfully captured her audience, from children to senior citizens. From the beginning of her concert to the end of her concert she never missed a beat and I was very fortunate to get the opportunity to see her in concert, thank you Stevie for coming to AC!! Because of this concert, you gave me so much more than anyone could do for me ever!

What an incredible night. I only wish I could relive it! I was able to see Stevie with Fleetwood Mac three times on their Say You Will tour, and this was the closest I've gotten to the stage yet. I had 2nd row left center tickets, but when Vanessa Carlton left the stage, and the first row was still almost entirely empty, I decided to 'upgrade'! Stevie opened with Enchanted, then Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, follwed by Outside the Rain, right into Dreams. She sounded fabulous! Rhiannon was great, the showed different pieces of her artwork behind the stage. Landslide had me in tears, they had Stevie's baby picutres on teh screen, and kept going right up to pictures of her touring. Other highlights were Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You. She started by saying she would never 'stoop' to this, but tonight she was going to stoop - then she spoke a little about the One campaign, then dedicated the song to 'all the little babies we're going to help save'. I loved hearing her sing Circle Dance, and Stand Back was great, as always. I loved the cover of Led Zepplin's Rock and Roll. She cam out wearing . . .PANTS! They were black with rhinestones, and she had on her trademark black top hat, with big red feathers on it! She totally rocked the song, she looked adorable, and looked like she was having a blast. She ended with Beauty and the Beast. I have to admist, I was moved to tears. The song always touches me, anyway, but they were showing clips from the original moving behind the stage, and Stevie looked beautiful. She had on a typical flowing black dress, with this black robe, that came up high around her head, and was trimmed in fur. With her haid swept up, and tied with black ribbon, she was absolutely stunning. At that moment, she was the fairy princess that every four year old girl wants to be. Finally, I have to add that for me, the best part of the night was Edge of Seventeen. She started her walk across the stage, and I was actually in front. I had imagined it, but never thought it could happen. She reached to the girl next to me, and when she straightened up, I made eye contact. She reached out and held both of my hands. I simple said 'Thank you". She gave my hands a squeeze, and said "Your Welcome". And then she was moving on again. I only wish I could find someone with pictures or a video of that moment! Just a moment, but it will stay with me forever. Thank you, Stevie, for giving us this wonderful music, for sharing with us your beautiful voice, and for taking the time to greet your fans. It means the world to me - there is always magic when you walk in a room.

I attended both Stevie Nicks shows in Atlantic City this past weekend and I have to say I was not disappointed! The first night I was supposed to have 6th row seats in section 400 but was told by the ushers that those seats did not exist (they had taken them out for whatever reason) and was escorted to the 4th row dead center! Well, who was I to argue with that?! Vanessa Carlton opened up for Stevie. Granted I had no idea who she was, I did recognize a few of her songs (Ordinary Day, White Houses, and Thousand Miles) Vanessa was really good with only the piano as her accompaniment. Unfortunately there were some really rude and ignorant people (a handful though, not many) in the audience who didn't appreciate the fact that Stevie chose Vanessa to be there. Vanessa played for a little over a half hour then came the Bootylicious intro to the Dreams dancemix. Stevie came out with Enchanted, classic! I was fortunate enough to be in the seats where the band members sat (you know, the extra people who all had backstage passes) and the photographer for Stevie was sitting beside me and he actually went backstage and got me a set list which was more than appreciated! So here was the actual set lineup for both nights: Enchanted, Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, Outside the Rain, Dreams, Rhiannon, Sorcerer, Stand Back, Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You, Gold Dust Woman, Circle Dance, Band Introductions, Fall From Grace, Landslide, Edge of 17, (encore) Rock and Roll, and Beauty and the Beast. One thing I did notice was that (I believe) Stevie might have messed up a lyric or two during Stand Back. It didn't take away from the song in anyway though. Of course she did the infamous high kick at the end of Stand Back which I always love! A very unique part of the show was the cover of Led Zeppelin's Rock and Roll. Stevie came out in black pants with rhinestones (or some kind of stones) lining the edge of them and a variety of black layers on top...but the kicker was the hat she wore!! The hat was like a black and red top hat with a red and black feather sticking out of the right hand side of it! That was awesome, and somewhat old school Stevie! Another highlight was during Landslide where the background screen played different clips of Stevie throughout her life...really cool touch. Of course during Edge, everyone in the third row got to go to the stage (I managed my way up even though in the 4th row) and we were allowed to stay up at the stage for the remainder of the concert (Rock and Roll and Beauty and the Beast). The second night's show was just as good. I originally had horrible 8th row seats in the 500 section all the way on the end as far away from the stage as possible. Well, me and the people beside me decided we were going for better seats and ended up in the second row right in front of Sharon and Jana. Of course being in the second row we got to go to the stage that night too, but were told to take our seats after Edge...that sucked! Stevie was promoting One.org at the show as well and took time to read from I believe a prompter about going to www.one.org to sign the petition. She stated that she's not a computer person and doesn't even have one! (I already signed it myself) The only thing I was concerned about was the lack of turnout for the shows. I have to agree with many people that this tour hasn't been promoted very well. I really believe only the true Stevie fans know about these shows. I didn't see a single advertisement in Atlantic City for the show and even the venue, the Borgata, didn't have signs prominently displayed, only those dumb electric signs which change every few seconds so if you didn't stand there to watch them, you'd never even know Stevie was there! The photographer did inform me that they are working on a tour book but I have NO idea when that will be available. Stevie looked GREAT both nights and kicked (literally) butt! I was ecstatic to hear Sorcerer and Fall From Grace again! I only wish they would add more shows to this tour! Looking forward to the next time! This was #15 and #16 since May 2003!
