I'm a long time fan of Stevie and Fleetwood Mac .
Starting with Bare Trees Buckingham Nicks( in the winter of 78 I was limited to two 8 tracks Bare trees and the hendrix experience)we were snowed in mamouth that year .
Any how my wife and I saw the concert on the 23 and we both love stevi alot .
she's so smart and pretty. and the music was fine I thought sorcerer was very tight.
stevi is generious and brave .
She is one in a million and thats an understatement.

My day started at 3:30a.m. When I was awoken by thunder and lighting illuminating my room. It was then I realized our GYPSY of ROCK has arrived! Yes the day of my concert had finally come to be! My brother and I arrived about three hours early as we always do looking around the venues parking lot wondering where is every one? Well we ended up meeting a couple on their second date (how sweet) by the name of Jorge & Frizz with whom we shared stories and adult beverages until the gates opened! As we approached the gates I noticed a security guard belting out guidelines thru a bullhorn stating you can’t do this or bring in that.Well I just could not pass it up so I stood next to the guard and asked him to key the mic and proceeded to announce to the crowd passing by” Single male here looking for a beautiful date!” Only response was laughter so far….”Um..front row!” Still only great laughter.(yes that was me)I decided to quit while I was ahead.Did I mention stories and beverages? My brother and I walked down to our seats in the front row center (seats 8&9) and let me tell you just as others have already! Wow!!! Vanessa Carlton has a voice and presence like no other I have witnessed live! A voice from heaven is the best way to describe her emotion and passion. I no longer needed a beautiful date. Vanessa filled my heart and soul with her music of which I had never heard before until this night! And her piano playing ability just blew us away. Now on to my true love.We started to place ourselves at the stage just to the right of our beloved mic stand and guess what! No monitors to get in the way so Stevie could reach us with ease. (more on that later) The set list to the best of my memory was exactly what it states on the nixfix. The Lady of our Enchanted night took our worries away and lifted our spirits so high and never let go the entire night! Twirls you ask? You bet! I lost count after the first eight or so. A high kick was in order I thought. Wham!! Stevie did just that with authority. The Edge of Seventeen is starting!!!!! Palms are beginning to sweat as the time has come to greet this Lady of our night! Stevie started from the left and made her way towards us shaking hands and receiving gifts. Just like I thought she had to skip a group of people on our left due to the floor monitors. Stevie gave the most heart felt “I’m sorry” as she pointed out the monitors and their She was!!!! I heard my brother on my left say” thank you Stevie” as she took his hand firmly and looked him in the eye and replied in the most sincere voice “no, no thank you”. As it happens the gentleman behind me being very tall acquired the hand of Stevie after my brother. WHAAAAA!!!! That’s it.Next time I’m bringing phone books to stand on! Then there was WADDY starting in on Rock-n-Roll!!! Wow this guy can play! Stevie emerged adorned with her famous top hat and feathers to boot and completely rocked the house! Just tore it up with her vocals and antics while bringing the crowd to a frenzy! As we all cried for more Stevie disappeared into the dark of back stage and reappeared for the last song of the night. A beautiful lullaby to sooth our souls and bring us all to be within her arms.Yes it was time for Beauty and the Beast. Not a dry eye in the house including me. With great smiles Stevie and the band took hands and bowed to us all. Thanking us for coming. May I reply in Stevie’s words “no, no thank you!!” I would like to say in my own words….ELEGANT IS SHE, THE QUEEN OF ROCK!

...the ENTIRE crowd sang "Landslide"...word for word, note for note, in
perfect unison with Stevie!! It was amazing!
The first time I (Eddie S.) saw Stevie was in 1981 at the last show of the
Bella Donna Tour. I remember seeing the people gather around the stage at
the end of "Edge of Seventeen" to offer a smile, or some flowers, and love
to Stevie. I remember thinking, "...that will be me someday."
I was 17.
I'm 41 now, and This Night was My Turn.
In the years between 17 and 41 I had met the love of my life, and he was
standing right there with me.
"...and I hear the call of a nightbird..."
...and there he was, pushing me to the front of the stage as Stevie came
over to meet her fans. Every show, over the years...fans and fans and fans,
loving touches, shaking hands ...07/23/05 was My Turn.
After 25 years of dreaming about it, Stevie looked right down at me - eye to
eye - and extended her hand to me.
This is one of those shining moments that I will never forget. EVER!
And it is for things like this that we all love Stevie. She certainly has
love enough for us all, and LOVE IS the message for us all!!!
I would like to thank the Love of My Life for surprising me with Pit
Tickets...and thank you Stevie for knowing just how much your fans LOVE YOU!

Vanessa Carlton opened the show with some beautifully haunting self-revealing songs on the piano.
Then Stevie hit the stage and sang her gluts off. She left it all on the stage. There was Dreams, Rhiannon (my favorite, of course) with that amazing piano intro.
There was Waddy whom I first saw with Stevie on a 1982 HBO Concert Stevie did. He was out of control but still in control. Haku had his percussion moving in all directions. Stand Back and Edge of Seventeen rocked the house. Beauty and the Beast closed the show perfectly. It was a magic night for the Witchy Woman.
Rock on, Gold Dust Woman!

What a show Stevie put on last Saturday! WOW! Vanessa Carlton was pretty good, pretty talented. She's in a lucky place to be surrounded by such die hard fans as Stevie fans are. Stevie sang beautifully (as she always does). I think she took Led Zepplin's Rock and Roll and rocked it! I think she should add that into her show set! It was a cool thing to see her go from her classic introspective songs that I love and go into hard rocking numbers like Stand Back, Edge of Seventeen and now Rock N Roll. It's nice to see Stevie mix it up and do some of her co-rockers songs, very cool. I got to go up to the edge of the stage on the far right side during Edge of Seventeen and I touched Stevie hand! That was the best thing about the night, being only arm's length from one of your lifelong icons! The night was awesome and the picture montage during Landslide summed it all up for me: The world is a better place because of you Stevie. You continue to touch our hearts with your words, songs, and
presence. Keep touring for years to come!

I just have to say that I really enjoyed this concert of the total of 5 times I have been blessed to see Stevie in concert (solo and with the Mac). The band and back-up singers were fantastic. Waddy, you are a Rock and Roll ANIMAL! Stevie has so much energy. Her voice was amazing and she LOOKED GORGEOUS! Stevie has fans of all ages. I sat in my car before the show and watched people head towards the gate and was amazed at everyone that attended. Older couples, teenage girls, guys, and even 5 yrs olds. I had great seats and sat next to two nice ladies who had never seen Stevie in concert. They were so excited. Stevie appreciates her fans and loves our country and definitely loves and supports our military. For me, highlights were her cover of Led Zepplin's Rock & Roll, "Stand Back, and the video/sing-a-long of "Beauty and the Beast". I cry every time I hear this song and to see it move with Stevie's song envoked a slobber-fest. She hit the high/long notes without faltering. Fans who know Stevie, know that "Edge of Seventeen" is a stage-side invite and I, once again, was blessed to have shaken her hand. She even said hello to a very young lady (on her dad's shoulders). Stevie held the little girl's face in her hands and touched her head to head. I'm sure this young lady will never forget that night. Neither will I.

Let me just start by saying that “I am totally in love with this woman!” The minute the first cord was hit, I new it was going to be a great show. And boy was I right! Stevie looked beautiful. Her voice was incredible. I honestly have to say that out of the 6 recent shows that I have seen her and Fleetwood Mac live, this was definitely her best. You could see the joy and happiness on her face as she danced around on stage; especially with her feathered top hat and those leather pants. Even as I write this, a week later, I still smile every time I think about it. It was almost like dream. Now I know this is not much of a concert review, but I can say that anyone that goes to any of Stevie’s concerts, whether solo or with Fleetwood Mac, will never forget each and every moment they experienced, or will experience, on their night.
Just a note to Stevie:
I don’t know if you actually read any of these, but just in case you do, I would like to thank you for the great time my friends and I had at the show.
I also hope that you really liked the gift I gave you when I shook your hand. I know you didn’t see me when I gave it to you, but just knowing that I, personally put it in your hand just made my “Stevie” experience that much more special. Who knows, maybe one of these days I will see a picture of you with it on.

Stevie was amazing! She seems to have found herself. The set list was incredible. I was very impressed by the entire show. The videos were done perfectly and it truly enhanced and highlighted Stevie. Her clothes were beautiful as always and she even wore one of her signature hats with feathers flowing. I appreciated her tribute to the military, though, to date I have never heard her mention the women of the armed forces. As a woman with 22 years of service and a huge fan of Stevie for over 2 decades, it would certainly be nice to hear her acknowledge the ladies.
She and the band were incredible. There talent and experience shined through on every song. The crowd really went crazy with Stand Back and Edge of Seventeen. Her voice seems to have gone back to 20 years ago. I am honored that I was able to attend this show. It was one of the best performances that I have seen her do in years.

Stevie Nicks' magical "Gold Dust Tour" rolled into San Diego last night. The
long-awaited event was performed before a near sell-out crowd of truly
appreciative fans. Thousands upon thousands of people, a great mix of young
and young at heart, settled in for an evening of non-stop entertainment. The
show's opening act, Vanessa Carlton, was treated to a rousing reception as
she praised Stevie's fans for being a very special audience... lovers of
singer-songwriters. Her quick wit was well-received and her performance
flawless. Stevie later dedicated "Landslide" to Vanessa's parents -- who
were sitting next to us in the audience. As for the rest of Stevie's
performance, she was in fine form. Happy and obviously enjoying the crowd's
thunderous approval, Stevie was soaking up the love and positive energy
being directed her way. San Diegans love Stevie... and she returns the love.
It must be incredible to have been in show business for so many years,
decades... and still "fill the house" -- performing before crowds so
enormous, top-of-the-chart artists are surely envious. Of note, she had
rearranged the order of the songs in her setlist in comparison to the tour's
opening night. High points for me: The photos and video shots from
throughout her career shown as a backdrop during "Landslide" -- which
brought me to tears. Her cover of Bonniie Raitt's "Circle Dance" and Led
Zeppelin's "Rock & Roll" were extremely powerful. The dedication of "Has
Anyone Ever Written Anything For You" to America's military men and women.
She had visited injured troops in a Washington, D.C. military hospital just
recently... and encouraged us to do the same. The tight harmonies between
Stevie and the backup singers (We love you Sharon and Jana). Waddy's
interaction with the crowd. The many costume changes... especially the
"return" of the feathered top hat during "Rock & Roll" (paired with her
leather pants). What a hottie! Her selections from the TISL album,
"Sorcerer" and "Fall From Grace" were real crowd pleasers from one of the
best albums on the planet. The twirling on "Gold Dust Woman" and "Stand
Back". Vanessa taking a spot next to Sharon and Jana on "Rock & Roll". Okay,
who am I kidding... there wasn't a moment the entire night that wasn't
priceless. We had lucked into front row seats and were blessed with the
opportunity to, again, hold her hand for a few brief seconds during the
"Edge of Seventeen" meet and greet! I brought several younger friends and
coworkers that have only just recently discovered Stevie (mainly through my
efforts as a "recruiter" -- buying TISL albums and giving them as Christmas
gifts). They were all extremely impressed... I could even say awestruck. I
love sharing Stevie with others. She is truly the "Queen of Rock & Roll" and
a legend unlike any other. She touches our hearts and guides us through both
our happiest and our most sorrowful times in life... holding our hands all
along the way. For that we are forever grateful. Thank you Stevie for yet
another night to remember.
