What a great show! It was my first time ever to see Stevie Nicks in concert. It was a early birthday present from my husband of 16 years. I was really impressed how Vanessa Carelton opened up the show right on time! I loved her singing & her piano playing. She was very personable with the crowd & she definetely has a future ahead of her in the music business. Then, it happened, we heard a song that sounded like one of Stevie's & the couple next to us said it was a Destiny Child's song. Good song & all, but we were waiting for who we came to see. In a flash, here arrived Stevie on the stage. I was elated! All these years I have waited to see her & here I was on row 44, seats 9 & 10, watching Stevie Nicks perform all the songs we all know & sang right along with her. I was in heaven right along with the doves! I was only to get close (about 50 feet away) on the last two songs, the Led Zepplin song & Beauty & the Beast. I loved the feather hat Stevie! Then came the last song... Beauty & the Beast, beautiful velvet dress & I just loved the old version of the movie in the background as you sang. Hi to Waddy. I remember seeing him perform with James Taylor in Chico, CA when I was going to college Your band was excellent, Taku, Carlos, Al, Darrell, Brett, Jimmy, Sharon & Jana. What a great talent, nobody has a voice like yours & that is what makes you Stevie Nicks!

The high priestess of rock and roll was in full bloom on this evening! I wondered if doing three shows in a row in three differant cities would affect the performance, but I had nothing to worry about. Stevie was awesome! She looked fabulous, her voice was perfect, and the band was incredible! Reno rocked in the new events center, and everybody there had a great time. Thanks Stevie for just being you. Thanks for the years of great vocals.

Stevie brought her Gold Dust Tour to the Biggest Little City in the World, Reno,on Sunday and we were there to enjoy every minute of it. After having gone to past shows in the Los Angeles area (where I live) we decided to catch Stevie in a smaller venue. Although the Reno Events Center is still quite large, compared to arenas like The Arrowhead Pond, it felt almost cozy!! The show unfolded with one great song after another. Stevie swept the crowd along with her poise and her voice never sounded better. Her vocals were rich and unstrained. She seemed to be in great spirits and treated the capacity audience to a flurry of twirls during Stand Back. She can still spin like a top. The crowd ate it up and responded with thunderous gratitude. Seems that she shortened the set a little the night we were there, because I had read that she did Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You and Sorcerer--both of which were missed. Landslide was poignant with old clips of a younger Stevie on the big screen--and the entire auditorium was singing along in a way that was reminiscent of a Coming Of Age ritual. Everyone was feeling the lyrics "Im getting older too..." and they roared their approval. Rock and Rolls' last great Diva brought the crowd to their feet with an electrifying Edge of 17. The energy emanating from the 6,000 plus crowd swelled with every chorus like a tide that kept building in intensity. Stevie's treatment of the classic Zeppelin song Rock N Roll, brought down the house. Her spirit was feisty and playful as she delivered a knock out punch. The encore Beauty and The Beast was perfect to the last note. Stevie's voice moved through the area with a force and a tenderness that had the boisterous crowd hushed and attentive, the last notes dying away as the legendary Stevie Nicks appeared like a veiled vision in the spotlight. This was a wonderful tour and we appreciated that Stevie was out there giving of herself to her thousands of fans in a time when she has no new record to promote. This is a woman who obviously loves to perform and we are grateful that she still wants to share her gifts with all of us. As the lights came up, we remained Enchanted.

Hi folks, Stevie did a masterful job with a Bonnie Raitt song "Circle Dance." Maybe she will put out a dvd of this tour and everyone can enjoy it. Don't miss this tour .Stevie rocks on....

Great show!!! Stevie looked wonderful and sounded great. I am still waiting to hear her sing "I Cant wait" since it is one of my favorites and brings back memories from College in Puerto Rico. I really enjoyed the Gold Dust tour concert, I truly love her music and it took me years to understand her lyrics being Spanish my first language. Anything that Stevie sings touches me. I really hopes she never retired. Whish the best for her, for bringing so much happiness in my life thru her music and lyrics. I absolutely love her. Vanessa Carlton was the bomb for her opening show. Thank you Stevie.

Let me begin by saying “THANK YOU” to Stevie for being so sweet to my kids at this concert in Reno! (I’ll explain later.) I attended the Reno show with my husband and 2 children. We drove 8 hours from Salt Lake City, Utah for this show. We had front row center seats! I have been a Stevie fan since 1975 and have attended all of her concert tours along with all of the Fleetwood Mac tours since the Rumours Tour in 1977. Because of this, I’ve always wanted my children to see Stevie in concert. This was a great opportunity for them! Stevie looked and sounded great at this show. Some of my favorite songs from the night were “Rhiannon” (my favorite song of all time!), Gold Dust Woman, Landslide (the crowd sang along nicely to this song), and “Circle Dance.” She dropped a couple songs from her set which were “Sorcerer” and “Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You.” I was a little disappointed since I love both of those songs. The crowd was very cordial, but nothing crazy. Just before the “Edge of Seventeen” intro, someone with security approached me. He told me that if I wanted my kids to be up front to shake Stevie’s hand, then I should take them up front at that time. So, I grabbed my kids by the hands and took them right up against the stage. Even though we were sitting in the front row (center), I had to go over to the right side of the stage since there was speakers/equipment at the center part of the stage. I knew if we stayed in the center, Stevie would not be able to reach our hands (particularly my children’s hands.) The “Edge of Seventeen” sounded great and then it was time for Stevie’s “walk” across the stage to acknowledge her fans. When she approached my 7 year old daughter (who has very long blonde wavy/curly hair and big blue eyes) and reached for her hands, Stevie’s eyes lit up and she got this huge smile on her face. She grabbed my daughter’s hands and said to her: “You are so beautiful!” Stevie then looked at me and said: “She is so beautiful.” I felt Stevie’s warmth and sincerity which was amazing! I think my daughter was a little overwhelmed by everything but still managed to say Hi and give a smile back to Stevie. At this point, my husband held my 11 year old son up to the stage so he could shake Stevie’s hand. Stevie looked at him with the biggest smile (and her eyes got huge!) and said something to the fact of “Oh, look at him!” She seemed to hold his hands for quite a while and genuinely seemed thrilled by him. (My son had his hair spiked up in a little Mohawk and was having a real good hair day!) I told her that they were my children and that they were big fans of hers. Then, with the warmest smile on her face, she grabbed my hands and thanked us for coming. I told her “thank you” for the wonderful compliments and acknowledgement of my children. That meant the world to me! Stevie then came back for her 2 encores: Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll” and “Beauty and the Beast.” She looked great in her hat and her tight spandex-type black pants and boots! Yes, she had her black boots on at the end and looked amazing!!! We were sad to see the show end. When the show ended, we hung around for a few minutes up front. Then, one of the guys from Stevie’s sound crew approached me and asked if my daughter was a Stevie fan. Of course I said yes and he walked over and gave my daughter a copy of the official set list. At the top of the set list it said: “Revised July 31, 2005 at 5:35pm.” I guess that’s when Stevie decided to drop a couple of songs from the set. So, to sum it all up, it was a GREAT night for my family! I’ve been a Stevie fan for SO long and for her to be so kind to my kids, was just the greatest feeling in the world! In closing, I would like to say another very special “THANK YOU” to Stevie for her kindness. We will never forget our evening with you! We love you!

Oh my gosh, what a perfect show. Stevie is so beautiful and her voice sounded like I was listening to one of my cd's. The lady can still spin too! My daughter flew up from the Bay Area and took me to the show as a birthday present for me and I can say it was the best birthday present I have ever received!. What a wonderful and talented lady Stevie is. Her band is excellant too. Waddy is a GREAT guitar player. After all these years of song writing and singing, Stevie is at her prime, forget how old she is, age is just a number. I hope she never stops rocking us!. My daughter and I have matching pink shirts with Stevie's fairy drawing on the back and STAND BACK on the front. Thank you Stevie for keeping our ears and eyes happy all these years and thank you AMY for caring enough about your mom to give her an evening to never forget.

Considering myself to be Stevie Nicks number one fan, it was once again the best day of my life because it was another day seeing Stevie in person. My infactuation with her began in 1989 and just keeps on going. On the hour drive to the Reno events center, I had counted how many times this would be I have seen her, and it comes to be six. One milestone for me was that is was the first time I had been able to see her twice in one year, since I had also been to opening night at the Celine Dion theater earlier this year. So, here is how it went: I arrived in Reno on schedule and the anticipation already building. Upon parking, I had to buy a milkshake in order to get change for the parking ticket machine. So since I had to finish the shake, I stood outside the concert center right in front, where I was watching all the people making their way inside, some with Stevie-esque clothing, everyone seemed happy, and who couldn't knowing their going to see the queen of rock and roll? As I stood there, I watched the marquee which would show different artists schedule, Tom Petty, etc. as well as Stevie advertising the Gold Dust Tour and her appearance that night. A local radio station had a booth set up next to the main entrance broadcasting their station, and the next song that came on was Fleetwood Mac's The Chain, I thought 'is this a coincidence or what!' Okay, milkshake is done, time to go in. I quickly got in line, and only a couple minutes to get in. I had bought my ticket a little later in the month than I had hoped, so I didn't have the perfect seat, but was ready to find out where exactly I would be. As I followed my seat assigment on my ticket, I ended up in the middle, upper left of the arena. I took my seat, checked my watch, only 15 minutes to showtime. The time quickly passed and then the lights dimmed, and out walked Vanessa Carlton. Certainly she wasn't the reason I was there, but I enjoy some of her songs on the radio and I agree its cool Stevie is given a newcomer a big break. She sang about 6 or 7 songs, and I loved the comment she made near the end "Now that you know who I am, I am going to play one more song before I turn you over to the Great Stevie Nicks". She finished, and I cheered as I knew it was only a short while before showtime. The stage crew was rearranging the stage and people went to refresh their $6.00 beer. A few minutes later, Bootylicious came on as I have heard from the previous shows, followed by the newly updated Dreams, only a minute or two left to go..The lights went down, and the crowd started to get into it, I had my eyes fixed on the stage just waiting for the first glimpse. There she was, making her way to the front of the stage, and you could tell she just loves the reaction from the crowd, which makes me only want to yell even more. To the left of the stage was a display screen which showed video, and gave me a much better close up look at all that was going on, and it seems Stevie is never going to age to a point that she won't be the most beautiful woman on the planet. Her voice was a good as ever, her opening song being Enchanted instead of the usual Outside the Rain, which came later. Usually I can tell which song comes next by the first couple notes, but the version of Rhiannon's piano intro was slightly different than before and caught me off gaurd but in a good way. Throughout the entire night her energy just flowed and blew me away. Knowing how long she has been in the business, how many years and shows and records she has done, it's just overwhelming to see and hear how she just does not tire of what she does, and further more still gets so much out of doing it all, and for others. The band was spot on all night, her backup singers looked and sounded great, and Stevie twirled and thrilled me in a way no one else can. Next time I promise myself I'm going to get near the front row so that I have the chance to shake her hand at the end of the night, possibly fullfilling my destiny LOL. Vanessa even came out and sang with the backup near the end. My voice was getting rough by the end of the show, but I managed to yell and shout my appreciation to the end, thankful for the best night of my life, again.

The concert……….We had 4th row tickets and a great view. I was on the very end so I had no problem at all seeing Stevie. Vanessa Carlton sang for about 30 minutes. She was okay but – we were there for Stevie! People around me were trying to figure out who she was…LOL I was worried at first because people around me were talking while Vanessa sang. I turned to my friend Rebecca and warned her that if they did that when Stevie sang I was going to tell them to hush. I was hoping I wouldn’t embarrass her. She said; "If you don’t, I will!" LOL Stevie came out and I didn’t sit once she came out! The lady in front of me was a huge fan and wanted to compare ticket to ticket how many concerts we had seen. I just humored her. She was a Stevie wannabe and had all the Stevie dance moves down perfectly. It was fun watching her. Stevie was awesome and was in true form. The concert was excellent. When Edge started, the Security Guards appeared from nowhere. They were not going to let anybody but the first 2 rows up. I was really disappointed but didn’t give up hope. There were girls who were propositioning Security and I saw one man try and pay them off. None of that worked for them. I just quietly stood by one of the guards and told him I wasn’t going to try and go through him, I just wanted to take pictures. He said that I wasn’t the one he was worried about (there was a tall redhead and a short girl with a hat on that were causing a stir.) I just stood there waiting for my chance to go up to the stage. All of a sudden the lights went out and I heard the Guard say…"go on." I couldn’t believe what I had heard and said "what?" He said; "go on through." I thought I had died and gone to heaven!!!! My patience paid off. When I got to the stage area, I just went for the middle. I asked the girl in front of me if I could get around her and take a picture. She said; "sure go on up there." I found myself at the base of Stevie’s microphone!!!!! I had never been so close to her! It was awesome. I was so excited I was shaking so some of pictures didn’t turn out as good as I would have liked. A lady in a wheelchair squeezed her way next to me and had her picture taken with Stevie in the background. She was so excited – it was cute. After Beauty and the Beast the whole band came to the front and I took their picture. When the house lights came up, I just stood there and couldn’t believe how awesome I was feeling. I looked around for Rebecca because she had no idea where I had gone! She was still in our seats. I wanted her to see where I was!!! The bad part: Well, the girls who were coming on to the guards…..they made it up to the front also and were pretty hateful to this girl who was on the other side of the lady in the wheelchair. There was also this girl on the other side of me who kept yelling at Stevie to sing Storms. I knew it wasn’t going to happen so I took a risk and touched the girl’s arm and said; "Please just let Stevie sing." I didn’t know if she was going to hit me or not! But I just wanted to hear Stevie sing. Well, a little bit later she whispered to me; "Thanks for putting me in check so we could hear Stevie." WHEW!! I was safe on that one! After the concert, the bullies were trying to start something with the other girl again. She just flipped them off and walked off. I’m glad that was the end of it! It’s a concert I’ll never forget!
