I flew up from Daytona Beach to see Stevie & Don together in concert at the Gwinnett Center. Being a huge Stevie/FM/Eagles fan since the 70's, I've seen alot of their shows, especially in recent years. But to see Stevie & Don preform on stage together this night was truely magical. And it appeared that both were having soooo much fun. Who could imagine hearing Stevie singing on Hotel California and Don singing on Gold Dust Woman. I won't soon forget. It was an awesome show. Thank you Stevie and Don.

I attended the show last night at the Gwinnett Arena in Georgia and it was awesome!! Don Henley seemed to be in a joking mood, especially how southerners pronounce tomatoes - 'domaters'. He was in perfect voice, but the spotlight was definitely stolen from him when Stevie came out to sing "Hotel California" with him. She looked radiant!!! After hearing her sing some of his/Eagles' songs, I would love for her to do a CD of her singing Henley's/Eagles' greatest hits. It was amazing to hear the crowd's reaction every time she came out to sing, she was the star of the night. I LOVED the screens behind Stevie playing various 60's type of psychedelic visions, a beautiful dove flying int the wind, a beautiful portrait when she sang Rhiannon and the film while she sang "Beauty And The Beast." After seeing the clips, I want to hunt the movie down to see it! I wish they would have had Stevie on one of the big screens while she sang "Beauty And The Beast" it looked like she was wearing such an elegant dress/cape and it was hard to really see from the audience. Her performance on this song was mesmerizing, you could feel her voice and words playing butterflies in your stomach. Her voice was the strongest I've heard out of the many times I've seen her. It was an awesome & incredible show!!! Love Ya Stevie!!

My best friend and I just got back from Atlanta. We had to stay overnight due to the fact that we live three and half hours away in Tennessee. I got the 4 star ILoveAllAccess.com package. We sat on the Fifth Row Floor(F1), Seat 7 and 8. I was really pleased with my seats and the cute pen set. I agree with most of the observations made by the previous reviewers, so I’ll just add a few other things that I thought or noticed from the show. First, I would just like to say that the show was just terrific! Stevie seemed to have so much energy, looked so healthy and fit, and just seemed all around happier and more relaxed than she did on the SYW tour. It looks like she has had time to rest and rejuvenate, which is wonderful! Don Henley was really a treat. I haven’t seen him except with the Eagles, so it was really special to hear his solo stuff live. His voice quality is great. His voice hasn’t change, since he started in the business. I think he is still singing everything in the same key! Don made several, cute comments to the crowd during his set in a southern accent; to the effect of, “Ya’ll had a cool, wet, spring, so ya’ll don’t have any peaches. Well, except for the ones in the audience, and I’m too old for that. You don’t have any dumaters either; that is how you say it, right?” It was funny. He also stated it was great to be back in the South. I love how Stevie and Don interacted with each other. They were really playful! Don kissed Stevie’s cheek, forehead, and hand several times throughout the show. They whispered to each other during non-vocal parts and in between songs. During the end of “Last Worthless Evening,” Don came up behind Stevie and hugged her for along time. I thought that was really sweet. I really love the slow dance that they did during the instrumental part of “GDW,” and the way he grabbed a part of her shawl to take “her lace” during “Leather and Lace.” I thought their best duet was “NY Minute,” because Stevie was really singing her part of that song like she had lived it. It was awesome to see that they still seem to have chemistry after all these years. Stevie’s set was just all around fabulous! The highlight of the evening to me was “Beauty and the Beast.” It was heavenly! She hit every note perfectly. I was blown away. Not only did she sound terrific, but she also looked stunning in her black velvet, off the shoulder (almost) cape and her hair up in a jewel-covered barrette. To my friend and I, her cape looked Elizabethan. But what made it truly perfect was the fact that she played the 1946 French movie, La Belle et La Bete on the screens behind her. I just loved, loved, loved that, since she whispers “La Belle et La Bete” at the very end of “Beauty and the Beast”(at about 5:30 if anyone is interested). It was just perfection. I also loved the fact that they placed a candelabra on the piano during this song. Nice added touch. Also, I noticed that she used a picture during "Rhiannon" which I thought was a picture of the Rhiannon, the Welsh Witch. Does anyone know for sure? I'm pretty sure; it was, but I thought someone else might know for sure. I agree with everyone on the security issues! OMG, the guards were being sooooo mean. Here is a possible reason why they might have been even more anal-retentive than usual: During the last part of Don’s set, I look up to the side seats nearest to the floor by the stage on the right side, and I see this guy who looks like the comedian Ron “Tatersalad” White. During intermission, my question was answered; it was him! He had several security guards from the arena around him. I guess a famous comedian equals really mean guards! At least they let us up there FINALLY for the Edge of 17! I noticed that the guard told two guys in front of me that it was finally okay to go, so my best friend and I followed them. My friend and I made our way just to the right of Stevie’s microphone stand. (I was so surprised that she didn't have her mic stand decorated with flowers as usual. She only had draping rhinestones. It was elegant though.). It was wonderful to be sooo close to Stevie. As she came around to shake hands with the fans, I was praying that I would have at least have one moment with her. She came to my section (to the right of her microphone), and luckily I got to shake her and say “hi” to her. I thought it was so sweet of her to greet the fan! That really made my world. I just wish I could have gotten her to sign my Buckingham Nicks album. I have Lindsey’s signature on it, but I don’t have Stevie’s on it. That would have made my concert world even more complete. I think that everyone should try to go see them on tour, because it would be a different experience than seeing her solo (which I plan to try to do this tour as well, if possible). It was truly a special night!

Wow,Wow,Wow-the concert with Don Henley and Stevie Nicks here in Atlanta was not to be missed. We got tickets thru I Love All Access, (Thank-you Adrianne, Dana) and they were the best I've ever gotten, so far. We had good parking, great food, and a raffle of many items (one guy won a autographed tamborine signed by Stevie), T-Shirts, etc. We were sitting with some Don Henley fans-(Eagle fans really, but they came to see Don-Hey Wayne and Jan!) My husband won drumsticks from Don Henley, he traded them to the Henley fan-this fan was nice enough to trade his and his wifes seat,(when Stevie came on) so we could see her better-how could it get any better-FRONT ROW SEATS, right in front of Don and Stevie both!!!!!!!!!!!! Don Henley was very talkative to us. I've read past reviews where he has not interacted much with the fans., well here in Atl. he was asking us little tidbits, but the best was on the encore of his set. He said he was going to skip the B.S. and get right to it. He said he was going to "GET ER DONE". His set was not to be missed ! Witchy Women was wonderful-when the music started Hotel California-the crowd went wild!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stevie came out, and was absolutely wonderful.. she has dropped a good deal of weight-for this fan, that has never and never will be an issue. Miss Nicks performance with Don was outstanding-as always. They did New York Minute, (Stevie doing the tick-tock motions was not to be missed.) They sang The Last Worhtless Evening, again, not to be missed!!!! Don then did Boys of Summer (crowd went wild), Heart of the Matter, Dirty Laundry,Life in the Fast Lane, All she wants to do is Dance, encores of End of the Innocence and Desperado-Every song of his, the crowd went wild, and sang with his. He was in very good voice, looked good, very playful and interactive with Stevie!!!! He seemed like he was throughly enjoying himself-he made many fans that night. Then it was Stevie's turn-and she did not dissapoint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She did Outside the Rain(one of my fav's), Dreams, Rhiannon, Enchanted, (Lots of energy with this one), Gold Dust Women/with Don, Circle Dance/with Don.This was a very good one to, both got very into the song, lots of eye contact. She then introduced her band (Wish Don would do this, he has some very talented help with him-his guitaurist is awesome!!!!!!!!!) You can see the love and respect between them, Sharon and Jana look at the audience, but when Stevie turns to look at them, they are very focused on her-they don't miss a beat. Great job Sharon and Jana!!!!!!!!!!! She introduced Waddy, (he is okay, Lindsey is my fav guitaurist!!!!!!!!!) Then she introduced Taku, (standing, clapping ovation, as well as for the others who tour with Fleetwood Mac), Brett Tuggle, Carlos Rios, forgot the guys name on the piano-did the into to Beauty and The Beast. Stevie sang Stand Back, and yes, she did the BIG KICK at the end. Then she went backstage and changed for Beauty and The Beast, (how did you do that so quickly, Stevie??????????????????) She came out with a barret (sparkly, shiny, glitterly) gown with black strap, and some sort of rolled cape, and she was simply beautiful, stunning, enchanting. She cast a Spell over the whole Arena, you could literly hear a pin drop, (as has been said before) That song was the best I have ever seen any artist perform live-You are going to kick yourself if you did not get tickets to this Concert. She did Edge of Seventeen, we all came to stage thinking, yeah right, like she will shake my hand. Well my husband, sister, and myself were shocked. We got seperated, figured we were going to get trampled-thank you security guard. They got handshakes, I held up a Red MS bracelet, she took it, and grabbed my hand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stevie, you will never know what that single act meant to me and my family! Then they did Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, Leather and Lace, and finished with So You Wanna Be A Rock and Roll Star, simply wonderful. Don and Stevie, please consider recording these songs on CD, DVD, whatever. Every Fan will buy it, they are not to be missed, I almost messed up, and didn't get tickects to Gold Dust Tour, but lucked out, and got tickets to North Carolina Venue! Wo-hooooooooooooooooooooooo, Get tickets it you don't have em. One more note, at the end of one of their duets, (can't remember which one), she twirls under his hand, thats right, under!!!!!!!!!! Stevie is not very tall, very ballerina like movements, just a wonderful concert!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go if you can, this is one concert you do not wqnt to miss, and I'm sure the Gold Dust Tour will be just as Good, She also did hula movements the beginning of her set, really cute, nice touch. Thank you Stevie and Don for a night we here in Atl will never forget, please keep touring, we will be there. Thank you also for the Nicksfix, its a great website, the best on the internet. Always a Nicks Fan,
Nathan C.
Leather and Lace....On Thursday, June 16, 2005 ~ I attended the Stevie Nicks and Don Henley concert and can honestly say that to see two of my childhood idols on stage together is a lifetime dream come true. My first Stevie Nicks concert was at the age of 6 on the "Rock A Little" tour at Six Flags Over Georgia and almost two decades later at the age of 25 ~ I am still enamored with the same woman who amazed and entranced me as a young boy, dancing across her stage and singing the songs that have become and been a soundtrack to my life. My mother and I attended my first concert, the "Rock A Little" show together ~ so, it only seemed appropriate that my partner and I would see the show with my mother who has been a long time Stevie fan and the one who introduced me to Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks at a very, very early age. The show itself was spectacular! Mr. Henley and his band were absolutely phenomenal. The highlights from his set included "Heart Of The Matter", "Boys Of Summer", "Desperado" and his duets with Stevie on "Hotel California" and "Last Worthless Evening". His playful manner with the audience and between song statements only added to his already wonderful stage show. Already being a fan of the Eagles and Mr. Henley's solo work only made me that much more of a fan. Seeing Stevie and Don on stage together is a sight I will not soon forget. With a very small intermission between sets, the sounds of Destiny Child's "Bootylicious" and an incredible remix of "Dreams" ~ the band and Stevie came to the stage. Belting out some of her very best ~ Stevie put on one of the best shows I have ever seen ~ and definitely the best show I have seen her put on with or without Fleetwood Mac. With Sharon, Waddy, Taku, etc., Stevie really put everything she had into the show...she was absolutely on her game, never missing a beat. Her voice, her amazing voice was absolutely perfect. To say that there were highlights is an understatement ~ every song was just perfect but, I must say that "Beauty and the Beast" was well worth the price of the ticket. The screen projections for "Rhiannon" and the lighting of the show was an absolute sight to see. The only thing that could have made this night anymore perfect would have been if "Sara" had been performed because I missed it on the second leg of the "Say You Will" tour but, I really could not have asked for anything more. Stevie, the living legend certainly didn't disappoint. So, thanks to Mr. Henley and Ms. Nicks and their respective bands for such a spectacular night! I cannot wait to see them both back out on the road to "rock us a little" next time.

Hello. I have to say this show was amazing, except for the asshole security though. Don's set was really good, I had never seen him live, and at first was only really going to see Stevie, but by the end of the show was also mesmerized by one Mr. Don Henley also. Although I didn't know the words to "The Genie" I thought Don did an excellent job of it. His second song "Witchy Woman" really got the crowd pumped, and I couldn't help but think of Stevie when he was singing this song. Stevie came out during Don's fourth tune "Hotel California" to much applause. She came out wearing a long skirt/shirt over skin tight pants with studs on the sides, completed with platform boots. She looked great, and has obviously lost a lot of weight since the Fleetwood Mac tour. They sounded great on "Hotel California" "New York Minute" and I thought especially "The Last Worthless Evening." During the "time time ticking away" Stevie was doing these hand motions with her fingers back and forth that everyone in the audience seemed to be mocking, including myself. So Stevie left with a big wave, and Don said "She'll be back." I don't remember the exact order of Don's set but the highlights for me were "End of the Innocence," "Heart of the Matter," "Life in the Fast Lane," "Desperado," and "Dirty Laundry." Dirty Laundry really got the crowd pumped. The fans would put up when Don pointed up during "kick em with their up" and point down, was really fun. He seemed to be having a blast. During his "encore" he said "We're gonna do a few more songs for you, so we aren't gonna do any of that bullshit where we leave and you all scream and we come back.." So I thought that was funny. He was in fine voice, and looked great. I personally had not seen much of him since the Hell Freezes Over DVD, except a few of his performances with Stevie here and there...but I much prefer his spiked short hair on him, than that greasy mess from Hell Freezes Over. I surprisingly really enjoyed his set, and didn't want to see it end. I met a few very cool Eagles/Henley fans, and had some nice chats--they were asking all kinds of Stevie questions, "How old is she?" "What songs will she sing?" Etc. etc. I thank I LOVE ALL ACCESS who scored me 5TH ROW center tickets, through the 4-star package. I very much expected to have like row 20 since that is all you are guaranteed with the 4-star package. The pen sets were also very cool. So Don left after "Desperado" which was just fantastic, one of the best versions I've heard of it..and there was probably a 15 minute intermission. They took down a lot of the stage, and rotated Stevie's bands' drum-sets around.. It was interesting to see how quick those guys are. So the lights dim and "Bootilicious" by Destiny's Child is played over the loud speakers. This got some screams when it first came on, for the obvious reason that it samples the riff from Stevie's "Edge of Seventeen." After that the new "Dreams" remix played over the speakers, which features new and recently recorded vocals by Ms. Nicks. During the remix we saw the band enter the stage in the dark, Waddy Wachtel was obvious with his trademark long curly hair. I have to say Waddy's guitar playing sounded superb last night. So the beat to "Outside the Rain" began, and the lights came on and there came Stevie from the wings with her flowing black dress, leg warmers, and sneakers on. Her hair was blowing in the wind from the fans on the stage, and she looked radiant. I could tell some of the Henley fans didn't really recognize this song, but us Nicks fans of course did because she's opened with this song for every solo tour except two. This was an amazing vocal performance by Stevie, especially when she bent her mic down to wail the line "well is there anyone else in this whole wide world that could ever replace me?!? " which the crowd loved. Outside the Rain, as usual led directly into "Dreams" which garnered much applause, as everyone seemed to know this song of course. Stevie did a funky hula dance thing in the middle of "Dreams" which I had read about in a lot of the reviews, and was an absolute trip to see. After "Dreams" she said "Welcome ATLANTA GEORGIA!" and punched her fist into the air. After this song was "Rhiannon," which at first I was disappointed to hear because she had been doing "Enchanted" after "Dreams" so I thought she had dropped it, but no it came after Rhiannon last night. "Rhiannon" was great, she came out in her trademark winged top for this song, She hit all the notes, better than she has done in years, punching her fist into the air near the end. "Enchanted" was a blast as always, Stevie grabbed her tambourine and rocked out to this Wild Heart album classic. (I also noticed that Don plays A LOT of tambourine in his solo shows, I never knew that!) After this song she went back to change again, and she and Don came out for "Stop Draggin my Heart Around" which was great. Although I love Waddy's guitar playing, I think Don sounds much better filling in for Tom Petty's parts than Waddy! This song went over well, the crowd loved it, Stevie and Don sang it to eachother and seemed to be having a blast together. Next was "Gold Dust Woman" a classic song, and one of my all time favorite Stevie/Mac songs. Don began the song with the line "Rock on Gold Dust Woman..." which I thought was odd, but cool. I just remember thinking how cool but kinda weird it was for Don Henley to be singing a Fleetwood Mac song. Stevie watches Don a lot when he sings I noticed, and mouths the words he's singing away from the mic, which is cool to watch. She was great also in this one, had her gold shawl on (for you Nicks fans reading this shawl is different from the usual "Gold Dust Woman" shawl). She did the wail in the middle of the song "and go hooooooooomeeeeee" etc. Don sang the ending also "Ooh pale shadow, of a woman." and Stevie in the end did the "baby baby baby baby..you cant see me now, you should see me now" which first made it's appearance in Vegas in May, and I love. In the end of "Gold Dust Woman" Don and Stevie slowed danced while the band played, and Don lifted her arm to twirl Stevie, and she twirled in circles while holding onto his right hand. Very nice! Next was "Circle Dance" which I loved. Stevie introduced it as a song she had loved, and was just so sure Don Henley wouldn't like it, but he loved it too, and they decided to do it. She said "Thank You Bonnie" to Bonnie Raitt who wrote the song, before they began. Listening to the bootlegs I was expecting to hear a lot of crowd chatter during this one, but fortunately did not. Everyone sat during this one, but they all seemed to be atleast watching/listening. Stevie then said "Don Henley!" he bowed and walked off the stage. Stevie then introduced the band, which she always does. I can't remember her new pianists' name, but he was very good. She introduced Sharon Celani as "Sharona" as she always does and said she was "their teacher, without her we couldn't do this every night, literally." Brett Tuggle on keyboards and according to Stevie "Whatever else we can make him play" haha. She talked a lot about the 135 shows from 03-04 Fleetwood Mac just did during the band intros, everytime she introduced someone who was also on that tour, like Brett Tuggle, Carlos Rios, background singers, and Taku Hirano. She did mention that backup singer Jana Anderson only did HALF of the 135 shows. She mentioned that Carlos Rios was someone who "when I wasn't doing so well" helped her stand, when she didn't think she could anymore. I have to say Waddy got the biggest applause, and it's obvious Stevie adores him also. So, Stevie left the stage to change again..and the drum solo to "STAND BACK" began, which I was excited to hear. When the synthesizers began the crowd went wild, and rose to their feet and Stevie came out in her polka dot "Stand Back" shawl dancing away. She did the great high kick in the end of the song, which was great and walked off stage right after kicking (obviously to change clothes again!). She then came out for "Beauty and the Beast" wearing the awesome black gown she's been wearing for this, which is off the shoulder, and her hair pulled up into a bun. She sounded magnificent on this. It was also cool seeing the clips of the old black and white Beauty and the Beast film projected behind her, that made for a cool effect. She was absolutely radiant, and really got into this one, with her vocals. When this was over, the drum solo for "Edge of Seventeen" began, and as the security guards with the white shirts had told us in the beginning, Stevie requested that the first 6 rows be allowed to come to the stage during "Edge of Seventeen." Well, there was a lot of confusion over that, some big headed guard in a maroon shirt kept pushing us back and saying "GO BACK TO YOUR SEATS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" (Sorry to all the people I kept having to walk in front of.) I know the Henley fans didn't know what was going on, but this is a 20+ year tradition for Stevie fans, but some security seemed oblivious to it. He was a complete ass, and I ended up getting into an altercation with him. He told us to go back to our seats, which I thought was stupid, to make us walk in front of everyone, and squeeze back to our seats--and of course within 30 secs to do it again, after the let the fans come up. It's not like we were bombarding the stage, the security had already told us that we could come up, but this guy didn't seem to know that this drum solo was even for Edge of Seventeen I guess. So I got up there, and my oh my was it amazing up there. "Edge of 17" rocked hard, Stevie did the scream in the middle, and was literally jumping and shaking her shoulders throughout the song. Waddy as usual sounded fantastic. At one point in the song one of the backup singers messed up and came in too early which obviously annoyed Stevie, and she kind of shook her head and just closed her eyes and let them finish out that line. She wore a cream colored skirt, with a black top, and black duster type thing, she looked so good. So Stevie did usual "Edge of 17" stage walk/fan greet in the end, and came to my section, and I couldn't reach her hand, for the stupid lady security guard who insisted on having her back up against the stage in my way (Sorry I'm bitter over Atlanta security last night!)...but then Stevie came to the right of me and I moved down some and got to grab her hand. That was an amazing, my life is now complete. I have been trying to do this for YEARS..And I did, she's so awesome. So after Edge security made us go back to our seats, and Stevie and Don came back out (yes Stevie had changed again)..the fans erupted when they came out hand in hand. She said something like "this is a song we do you might remember" or something. I called my aunt during it and let her hear, it was an amazing performance, lots of Don/Stevie interaction during it. They closed with "So You Wanna Be A Rock n Roll Star" which I didn't think would be that good, but surprisingly is a great ending. It really works for these two huge rock stars to close with this..singing in sequence "so you wanna be a rock n roll star, listen now to what I say..." like they are the Professors of Rock, was kinda cool, the lyrical meaning there. I loved it. I know Stevie played tambourine during it, I think Don did too I'm not sure. But they both rocked out, and sounded awesome together. In the end, they said thanks and Stevie, Don and Stevie's band all bowed, and left the stage--I was sad to see them go. I really don't hate security guards I promise, I've usually had great experiences with them, but it just seemed in Atlanta they were over the top. Some guard lady tried to take away my cell phone during "New York Minute" and came over to me to say "let me have the camera, no pictures, let me have it" I was like "LOOK LADY IT'S A CELL PHONE!" and held it up to her, idiot. She was also the one who told the little 5 yr. old girl to not stand on the seat, as if she was even blocking anyone's view. Overall this is probably my favorite concert ever, and I've been to many. The feeling and vibe was just great, and I really felt like I got my money's worth seeing two huge stars on one stage. Don has really loosened up a lot it seems since the first few shows. It was an amazing show. Thanks Don and Stevie!
Christie & Jan
This was a show that almost didn't happen for us. For whatever reason, the stars just weren't lining up right for us!!! And this was a LOCAL show -- well for Jan, more so than me (I'm 3 hours away) but Jan's house is like a retreat/2nd home for me...so I don't consider that traveling. LOL We bought 6th row tix from another fan, so all seemed to be going fine, but then the tickets got LOST in the transit, so we ended up having to go through all this crap with TicketMaster, all the way up to the day of the show, we had tickets, but didn't have tickets in hand!!! Two weeks of dealing with this crap was really taking a toll on our nerves...we were going totally insane over this!!! TM finally told us we could pick up our tickets an hour before the show. OK so that's kinda cutting it short!!!!! But we had no other choice!!! I ended up having to work a couple hours Thursday before leaving for Atlanta. And needless to say, any time I plan a Stevie trip and have to work that day, I NEVER get to leave when I need to leave, so that puts me behind schedule. So of course that happened Thursday...thanks to a company meeting. ugh!!! And just 5 miles into my "voyage", I'm sitting at a redlight and WHAM!!! I get rear-ended. I'm sitting there thinking to myself "I know that didn't just happen...not TODAY of all days!!!!" Thankfully, neither vehicle was damaged, so back on the road, again!!! 30 miles later....freakin CONSTRUCTION on the interstate!!! Took an hour to drive maybe 10 miles!!! WTH???? At this point I am really contemplating turning around and going home. Is there anything else going to stand in my way before this show, will I ever make it to the venue??? Well I think I set an all time record, a 3hr drive turned into 6 HOURS.....thanks to my last hurdle....part of the interstate was closed down and traffic had to be redirected. Crap!!! I saw more of Atlanta than I ever wanted to see!!!! Jan, Michelle, and Robbie were at the venue waiting for me outside...they kept calling wondering where the heck I was. All I could say was "I'm trying to get there!!!!" Finally 7pm, I pulled into the parking lot!!! I was ready to get out of the car and kiss the pavement!!!! I MADE IT!!!!!.....FINALLY!!!! Met up with the gang and inside we went. Saw our friend Mike, whom we hung out with in Vegas, but he was too far away, so we were only able to wave to him. My friend Rachel called me a few times, she was out in the parking lot trying to find better tickets than the lower section seats she originally had. Finally 10 minutes before the show started, she called again to say she just got 10th row....in our section. Yeah!!! OK now the show. Don came out and the crowd around us went WILD!!! It appears the first 5 rows in our section were ALL Henley/Eagles fans. It felt really weird being in the middle of all that, almost like we were "out of place". Guess now we know what we look like and how others look at us when Stevie is onstage!!! LOL The moment we were waiting for finally came: "Hotel California" started, so we knew Stevie would be coming out!!! After all the reviews we've read on different boards, we were anxiously waiting to see Stevie in her studded PANTS!!!! And OH MY.....she was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! Just when you think she can't get or look any better than the last time you saw her.....she proves you wrong. We just saw her a month a go in Vegas and I swear she's lost even more weight, looks even more radiant, even more happier. She's truly ON TOP of her game!!! Screw all those stories saying she's "done"....I think she's just BEGINNING!!!! "In a web that is her own, she begins again!!!" She did an amazing job on Don's songs. They were truly having a blast together!!! Neither was stealing the other's "thunder", it was a joint venture, 2 people respecting each other's talents, 2 very good friends onstage together!!!! Stevie left the stage...bummer...for Don to finish his set. I heard several Henley fans around us talk about how amazing Stevie's vocals were, so it appears she's gained several new fans....Henley's groupies. Intermission came. As they were changing the sets, we stepped out of our seats to visit with Rachel and her friend. I haven't seen her since Chastain last year, so it was good to see her and to meet her friend....it was her first Stevie concert and she was already asking what other shows we were all going to. LOL Doesn't take much to convert someone into a "Chiffon Head". LMAO Michelle came over to visit and then she noticed our friend Cassie trying to get over to us, but security wouldn't let her through since she didn't have a "floor" ticket....so we had to walk over to her. Anway, lights went down. "Bootylicious" started playing and we ran to our seats!!!! And out came "our girl"!!!! Stunning as ever!!! I won't discuss every song, everybody by now knows the setlist. But I will comment on a few. Don joined Stevie for "Gold Dust Woman", it felt really weird having someone sing "her" song, while she's onstage. We're just so used to seeing Stevie up there performing, especially that song, with all the hand gestures and movements she makes. I'm not knocking Don by any means....he did a good job on Stevie's songs. We got the HIGH KICK during "Stand Back", thankfully nobody is standing near her when she does that, she could knock somebody flat on their back with that kick!!!! But then as soon as she did it, she disappeared off the stage. Sharon and Jana finished the song. Seemed weird at first, but then we realized Stevie had to rush off to get "ready" for "Beauty and the Beast". This was the 3rd time we've seen this, and it still gives us chills!!! That is truly an AMAZING PERFORMANCE!!!! Stevie just continues to out-do herself every time!!!! We were looking forward to seeing Stevie and Don sing "Circle Dance".....that was really a touching song and to see them dance together.....very sweet!!!! The place went nuts when Stevie announced "Leather and Lace".....I think every Stevie and Henley fan was on their feet for that moment!!!! AWESOME!!!! It was really entertaining to see Stevie and Don having a "tambourine-banging" competition during the last song: "So You Wanna Be a Rock and Roll Star". Not a typical "Stevie closing" song. But very upbeat and FUN with those two pounding away on their tambourines!!! Unfortunately the show ended. Always too soon for us. Stevie could sing all day and all night and it'd still be too short!!! On our way out we got to see our friend Tracey and also speak to Brandy....two more people we've seen at soo many shows throughout our 5yr journey. On our way to our cars, saw Rachel and her friend one last time and we planned to see each other again in Charlotte. Nobody has tickets yet, so we'll all be "manning" Ticketmaster, Ebay, brokers, and everything in between!!!! Off to dinner with Michelle and Robbie. Trying to find somewhere to eat at midnight on a Thursday night was difficult. We were really hoping not to end up at IHOP or Waffle House -- as Jan and I have done so many times in the past. Thanks to AppleBee's staying open til 2am, we didn't have to!!!! We had an absolute BLAST sitting around our table, we all ordered something different and had a little buffet going on. LOL Needless to say we closed down AppleBee's, we looked around and were the only ones in the building. Time flies when your with friends!!!! Back to the venue to get mine and Jan's cars and to say goodbyes to Michelle and Robbie.....took another hour to do that. LOL Then to Jan's to finally get a few hours of sleep before I had to drive back to B'ham. Thankfully I had a better drive home than I did going....the normal 3 hours!!! Phew!!!!!! Well now we have Charlotte to look forward to. The only Stevie "solo" show we plan to see this go around...so we gotta get good seats!!!!!! Ticket searching has become a full time job!!!!! But whatever it takes!!!! Until Charlotte....

ps: I was really hoping to see one more person from the internet, she was the very first person I sent an email to when I got internet connection 6 years ago. But for whatever reasons, we've still to this day have never met in person, so it would be nice to put a "face" with a "name" after all these years. But I guess that's something else that the cards just don't fall "right". But before my touring days are "done" for good, I truly hope that meeting will happen.

It is the day after the Atlanta concert and I am still running on pure adrenaline. I went to the concert with my main focus seeing the Queen of Rock N Roll and was thoroughly impressed with Don Henley as well. I had read other reviews stating that he did not speak to the audience. Well he spoke to us saying, "It is great to be back in the South" He also told us that we was wanting some of our peaches and "Damaters" poking fun at our accents. It was well received and quite comical. When Stevie strolled on to the stage during Hotel California, it was pure magic. It was awesome to hear her haunting voice on such an incredibly haunting song! It was fabulous. No need to state all the songs they sang, reading other reviews will accomplish that. This was the 4th time I had seen Stevie. I took my husband with me who had never seen her and he was in awe of her sheer presence and her voice that just captivates your soul. We had great seats and loved seeing her typical Stevie fashion. My favorite by far was her singing Beauty in the Beast. I had read in the other reviews about this, but there are no just words to describe it. She showed the elegance that she posses when she came out on stage with her hair swept up with that gorgeous black gown on. As she sang the song I was completely entranced by her powerful sultry voice. I have never heard her do that song live and I will always remember the almost spiritual realm that fell over the concert hall. It is hard to imagine that she is 57 she looks incredible and she is still rocking as well as ever. She should have been the one singing I put a spell on you. Because any true Stevie fan that was there last night will forever be changed by her music.

Well, it's the morning after and I'm sipping coffee from my lovely, Stevie Nicks coffee mug purchased at the concert last night at the 6/16/05 Gwinnett arena show in Atlanta, Georgia. I was blown away..just blown away , again. I had planned to simply enjoy/tolerate Mr. Henley and looked forward to the duets between Don Henley and Stevie, because the night was for Stevie. Surprisingly, Don Henley's opening act was excellent. The opening song and especially Put a Spell on You were awesome. His band was phenominal and it was just hit after hit. Don's voice wasn't the strongest at times but at other times incredible. It was charming to see him and Stevie on stage : holding hands, hugging, dancing. I literally had chills listening to Hotel California ( a. in concert for the first time and b. WITH STEVIE-who was incredible on it.) Don was very chatty--he's been in Atlanta the last couple of days and said he'd spent 5 hrs recording in an Atlanta music studio for friend Kenny Roger's album to come out in the fall. He poked a little fun at our southern accents but said it was "Good to be in the South". Now for Stevie--I had read in other concert reviews that she wore pants. She did have pants with rhinestones and a floaty Chiffon cover up for the Henley sets, but she had many costume changes with her signature layered floaty dresses and sort of platform sneakers I think. I truly enjoyed the visuals for the concert--just beautiful during Rhiannon and Beauty and the Beast. Gold Dust Woman should be re-released as a duet with Don-it was magical..I had listened to the Entranced disc set for the last two days, and I think she actually sings better now than during some of the original recordings. Oh and I'm amazed at what she can do --still twirling and dancing / belting out the songs. Stevie also talked a good bit and seemed very happy and strong. Thank you, Stevie...My first Stevie concert was back in the early 80's while in college ( I actually got to meet her and shake hands-I remember the layers of chiffon and that she was just a tad bit shorter than me ) . Last night was only the 4th time to have seen her. If I had the money / time/ patience of my husband, I'd be following her on the road this summer. You can never get enough of Stevie and her excellent band.

This was the first time I saw Stevie Nicks in concert, and I was impressed! Stevie looked beautiful and sounded marvelous -- she was really giving it her all. And what a stage presence! The crowd seemed awed by anything she did onstage -- she had total control of the show and the audience. Stevie and her band definitely rocked the arena, as did Don Henley. My only complaint is that the guitars seemed to be too loud for both Don and Stevie's sets. This may be because I was sitting fairly close to a bank of speakers, or possibly it has something to do with my age, as "I'm getting older too." At times, the guitars just sounded like screeching to me. I'd be curious to hear if anyone else felt this way. While I wasn't keeping score, it seems like both Don and Stevie kept to the set lists mentioned previously. Don's voice was a little weak at first (again, I think he was struggling to be heard over the guitars), but his voice eventually evened out. I would say that "Dirty Laundry" was one of his best-sounding songs of the evening. As for Stevie's singing, I felt she did a fabulous job. Her voice was very strong, and it seemed to me that she was hitting some fairly high notes in her range. While her version of "Beauty and the Beast" was lovely (Stevie was not shown on the monitors during this song because of the film clip, and I couldn't really see her with her hair up -- bummer!), I felt her best song of the evening was "Stand Back." The crowd was totally psyched after that one. Special kudos for Stevie's drummer and her percussionist -- they are both true professionals at the top of their game. All in all, it was a special night. Two great performers and two great performances. Wish I could make it to an all-Stevie show!

I've got one word for ya...W-O-W!! This was my first time seeing Stevie solo and of course she did not disappoint. I saw her on June 16 at Gwinette Center in Duluth, GA. She did a few of my favorites like "Outside the Rain" and "Enchanted" and the regulars like "Dreams", "Stand Back", and "Rhiannon" (always great and welcome nonetheless). "Stand Back" as usual, was a crowd favorite with Stevie even re-adding her signature kick at the end. Glad to see her back to the old school style. I must also say how fabulous Stevie is looking these days. Looks like she's lost a few pounds and maybe even gotten younger since the last time I was fortunate enough to see her. She never looks bad, of course, but this time she looked better than ever!! I hope to look half as good as she does when I'm 57 years old... Stevie and Don Henley are magical together. Stevie came out in the middle of Don's set to do "Hotel California", "Last Worthless Evening" and "New York Minute". At the end, Don returned to do their awesome duet, "Lether and Lace" and then "Rock and Rol Star". After seeing that performance, it left me wondering why it has taken so many years for them to get together even for this short outing. It was great to see some familiar faces in Taku Hirano, Brett Tuggle, Sharon Celani, and Jana Anderson. All added to the ultimate enjoyment of the show. To all who were there, I am glad to have shared it with you. To all who were not...you just missed it. To both bands and back-up singers, thank you for allowing us a flawless performance. To Stevie, thank you for never disappointing...

WOW!!! I have been to several Stevie shows, she's always excellent but last night... was INCREDIBLE!!! When she joined Don Henley on stage, the place erupted and everyone was on their feet. Their voices still blend beautifully. I think it was when they did "The last worthless evening", they began to dance together and the fans just went crazy! Stevie was right on with every song she did, she was absolutely gorgeous. She had fun with the crowd and I fell in love with her all over again. But the highlight of the whole show, to me, was when Stevie sang "Beauty and the Beast". She came out in a beautiful renaissance looking outfit, they had an old video of Beauty and the Beast playing in the background and it was such a wonderful moment. It was as if her song put a spell on every person in the auditorium. Tens of thousands of people and you could have heard a pin drop. Her singing was so powerful and beautiful. She sang with so much emotion that I actually had tears falling down my face. Overall, this was the best concert of hers that I have ever seen. She is an all around wonderful performer and I would not trade my experience with the Nicks/Henley concert for anything. I hope they'll make a video of one of the shows so that we can enjoy it all over again. Thanks Stevie and Don!!! What an enchanted night!!

The only thing that would ever surpass seeing Stevie Nicks and Don Henley in concert together would be Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles touring and performing together! Stevie and Don were awesome, out of this world, the best I have ever seen, they ROCKED!!! My husband and I along with a friend of mine flew from West Palm Beach to Atlanta to see the show. My sister came down from North Carolina to join us (this was her first time seeing either of them in concert and she thought they were great together and solo! She was very emotional as was I.) Don Henley and Stevie Nicks are, and I repeat, are my top two entertainers/singers/songwriters in the world!!!! Don was his usual greatness during his performance as he always has been the past several times I saw him. His voice just right! His song choices were all my favorites which made it even better. Now, I knew (from reading fan reviews on the Nicksfix page) that Stevie would join him on stage, but I never expected I would get the goosebumps that I did seeing her come on stage from stage left. I was in the seventh row from the stage. And, to hear them sing Eagles and Henley classics (Hotel California, Last Worthless Evening and New York Minute) was a dream come true! And yes, I think the crowd was there more to see Stevie, but Don had his fans there also ( they were heard!!!). Don got the crowd going talking about just being there with the Eagles, how do you pronounce the name of the venue, and something about Georgia Peaches and the lack of supply! When he finished, the stage transformed into Stevie's own. I actually watched the transformation and hats off to both crews!!! Seeing Waddy Wachtel on the stage was a surprise as i don't remember him performing with her the last solo time around. And The moment of all moments was the anticipation of Stevie coming out and when she did the house roared!!!! Performing Outside the Rain, Stevie looked very svelte in her black dress. She looks to have lost even more weight than when I saw her during the FM tour. And, you can tell during her performances how much stronger she is physically. Her voice was the best I have ever heard it. She rocked the house and my entourage! I think I was mesmerized the whole time. I knew every song, sang every song! I love Rhiannon, Dreams(I sang that to my husband at our reception when we were married three years ago), Stand Back, but I was most touched, and cried during the Beauty and the Beast performance. I have always loved that song, learned the song front and back, and always wanted to see her perform it in concert. Wow! I can't say or express how touched I was during that performance!!! Both my sister and I cried during it as it was so emotional! And the whole showing clips from the Cocteau(sp?) film added to the whole package. Thank you Stevie for doing that song - I feel as if you did it just for me!!! Of course, I will say what brought even more tears was hearing Stevie and Don perform Lether and Lace together. Boy, two voices who can envelope into the songs like theirs is a once in a lifetime. I know there have been other great duet performers, but these two just know how to harmonize and play on each other's voices. Other duets - I enjoyed the Circle Dance song(it's the first time I had ever heard it). Gold Dust Woman, Don rocked on and they should record that and put out as a single!!! Stevie and Don sure know how to please!!!! Thanks Stevie and Don for a great show in Atlanta! We hope you two will tour again real soon and hit the South Florida area! We are looking forward to Stevie's show in July!!! Thank you again Stevie and Don!!!!

The concert was great started out with Don Henley singing all the great songs you know him for then to add the best ingrediant of the night Stevie Nicks.Stevie sang with Henly for several of his songs which made them really awesome.I didn't know what to expect hearing them both at once but man was it great....it was a definate spine chiller...they sounded fantastic. After intermission Stevie took the stage and brought the roof down with her powerful performance....then to make it better Henley does a wardrobe change and comes back out and sings a few duets of Stevie's songs which was awesome. He exited after a few songs and Nicks continued to rattle the roof with her angelic voice...her beauty and the beast performance was a must see, great visual also...altogether it's a must see for sure ....don't miss this really....we love you Stevie ,you ROCK.

Hey!! First off I want to thank John for keeping up the awesome site and always keeping us up to date on concerts. Without you John I would miss alot of info!! I can not thank iloveallaccess.com for being the most awesome people! They answered every question, never acted like I was a pain and believe me I was. They totally rocked!! This was one of the most professional company I have worked with in along time. I can't say enough great things about them. I am not sure what has happened but there was a very big difference from the FWM tour and this one. She was dancing and twirling, I even saw her shimmey for a second. You can pretty much read the reviews. They will tell you awesome each song was. I was so star stuck because I have never been that close to her, I couldn't tell you song order or anything like that. I did notice her clothes!! Thats my favorite thing! In this venue she did wear a gold shawl to sing Gold Dust Woman. I noticed because I had read on another nite she didnt. So I was really glad to see that..It was chills all nite. She really looks awesome!! Her voice and playful atty was enough energy to light up New Orleans. She is just beautiful inside and out!

I saw the concert last night in Atlanta. I enjoyed it much more than the Fleetwood Mac concerts in the past. The show was definitely Stevie's with Don opening for her, then joining her later for more songs. Stevie looked thin in her cute sequined pants, then covered up her cute body soon after with her large skirts and shawls. Don and Stevie both had powerful vocals. It's just always incredible to hear Stevie sing so strong. They both talked with the audience more than I expected. I think Stevie went backstage in between songs to change her clothing about ten times. But the band kept us all entertained. It was really awesome. Thanks Stevie!!!!

more reviews coming......
