Dear Stevie and Band, Had the pleasure and the awesome privilege to be in row B at last night's BRILLIANT concert in the Gold Coast, Australia!! I have been a fan of yours for many years and have seen you in concert with Fleetwood Mac. But last night you blew me away!! You are a true entertainer and story teller and took all those who love you and love your music to various heights...you were magical and gave me an experience I will never, ever forget!! Stevie your words, music and talent have touched my life, like so many thousands of others across the world, I thank you for sharing "you" with us last night and every time we play your songs. You are truly our Bella Donna!

Dear Stevie, Thanks for a wonderful night. We have just come home from your fantastic concert on the Gold Coast. It was a very special night for Sarah and I. Hard to believe it has happened for us. The night was a surprise for me. I didn't know who I was to see until the parking attendant said "Your here to see Stevie Nicks" and I replied in shock "Am I". What a gift. The concert got better and better as it went - the sound was sensational. Your warmth, grace and sensual love, just bursts through from your heart. The band was so good and so together like a big, warm, happy family. It would be hard to pick a favourite but Beautiful child was just Beautiful and the Landslide brought me down (undone) Again. Like I was a teenager again. If you're ever planning to come and live in Australia. Come and live near where we are down the coast a bit near Byron Bay. It's just the best part of the world. I shall show you the most Beautiful of places. (see attached) Thank you again, and all the best to all your people for the rest of the tour.

Vanessa was once again a delight and more people seemed to know her work at this show than the Brisbane one.

Stevie’s band consisted of (again):
Waddy Wachel – Guitar
Taku Hirano – Percussion
Jimmy Paxson – Drums
Al Ortiz – Bass
Carlos Rios – Guitar
Darrell Smith – Piano
Brett Tuggle – Keyboard & Guitar

Plus the ladies on vocals:
Sharon Celani
Lori Nicks
Jana Anderson

The GC convention centre was a much better venue as it was more intimate. (The opening music was the same)

The track list for the night was:
Outside the Rain
Dreams
Rhiannon
Sorcerer
Enchanted
Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You?
Stand Back
If Anyone Falls
Beautiful Child
Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around (with Waddy)
Gold Dust Woman
Fall From Grace
Landslide
Edge of Seventeen

The encore was the same:
Led Zep’s Rock n Roll
Beauty and the Beast

They were both beautiful nights and it’s truly a life-changing experience to be in the same room as Stevie. Thank you for all you do, all you are and what you inspire in us all Stevie.

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend both the Brisbane (20/2/2006) and Gold Coast (22/2/2006) shows this week, living on the Gold Coast. Originally my partner and I just booked tickets to the Brisbane show but then upon seeing (gleefully) that Stevie would also be playing right here, we booked tickets to that show too, and thank God we did! It was SO FANTASTIC! Not to say the Brisbane show wasn't wonderful also, but the Gold Coast show just seemed to have more electricity flowing through it...the people and atmosphere were full of love and affection for Stevie...anything less would have been impossible though, considering how gorgeous and beautiful she and her performance was. Her voice was absolutely amazing and in fact sounds more and more like she used to years ago, which is pretty cool. The songs were both energising and emotional...several times I was battling to hold back tears (Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You, Landslide, Beautiful Child and then Beauty & the Beast as an encore) and my partner beside me was crying freely. (She has met Stevie before in 1979 in Brisbane when they came for the Tusk tour, and chatted with Stevie for a while before several of the concerts, and Stevie dedicated Landslide to her one night. She feels it is her song.) At the end of the concert, before the encores, we were able (despite interference from concert hall personnel) to move right down to the front and stand in front of the stage, along with quite a few other people. This was amazing and fantastic, as we were able to be right there close to Stevie, and as she performed the closing number, Beauty & the Beast, I think a lot of people were left teary, dazed and just in awe of how beautiful this woman is. After the show, we and a couple of other devoted fans went around the back to see if we could meet Stevie, but alas it was not to be. Security people kept us back but we did manage to see Stevie briefly as she walked to the waiting car. She waved and blew us kisses. She looked really happy, which was nice to see. We continued waving, clapping and yelling various praises as the car drove away, Stevie still waving from inside. The Brisbane show was also absolutely wonderful, and you could feel the love from the crowd. Everyone wanted Stevie to be her best and she certainly was. (though to me anyway, basically anything she does is the best.) There isn't too much for me to say about it though, as it was flawless and perfect but for me, just lacked the excitement of the Gold Coast show (only because we couldn't get to the stage or try to meet Stevie afterwards at the Brisbane show). Everyone who has a chance should go to see Stevie. She is so impressive. It will be a night to remember and treasure always. The only thing I wish was that I'd had the nerve to go down to the stage earlier so I may have had a chance to touch Stevie's hand during Edge of Seventeen. Oh well. Next time!

What a privilege to see you again Stevie, you still have that amazing presence. I stood mesmerised for the whole performance and was honoured to touch hands with you.( A 30 yr dream come true) I had the pleasure of attending both the Brisbane Concert 20th Feb & Gold Coast Concert 22nd Feb. Gold Coast show far outweighed Brisbane, Stevie was brilliant at both, however the smaller venue worked its magic. Stevie appeared to feel the love and adulation from the audience at the Gold Coast venue. Brisbane audience was a bit staid. Rock on Gold Dust Woman, hope to see you again soon!!!! Vanessa Carlton was pretty special too, what a talented young lady.
