Stevie Nicks Solo Tour Kicks Off May 27
Just like a white- winged dove, Stevie Nicks returns to the
stage for a summer tour starting May 27 in Hartford, Connecticut. The
37-city trek will help promote Nicks' new three-CD solo career
retrospective, Enchanted, and the set's first single, a new duet with
Don Henley called "Reconsider Me."
Scheduled for release by Atlantic on April 28, the collection digs
up gems from Nicks' 17-year solo career. In the mid-'70s, Nicks rose
to fame performing with Fleetwood Mac, but her solo hits such as "Edge
of Seventeen" have earned her just as much recognition. Enchanted also
features B-sides, demos, duets, and live tracks, as well as previously
unreleased outtakes and songs such as "Thousand Days." "Reconsider
Me," written by Warren Zevon, was recorded specifically for the box
set.
No opening acts have been announced for the tour. Nicks' itinerary
