AP Newswire August 21, 2001 Bronchitis forces singer Stevie Nicks to postpone two concerts Tuesday, August 21, 2001 (08-21) 16:57 PDT LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Severe bronchitis has forced rock singer Stevie Nicks to postpone two concerts set for Tuesday and Wednesday while she undergoes treatment, her publicist said Tuesday. Nicks was to perform at the Universal Amphitheatre. The former Fleetwood Mac singer had experienced some respiratory problems several weeks into July as she embarked on the "Trouble in Shangri-La Tour," her publicist Liz Rosenberg said. As the tour went on, Nick's voice grew more hoarse, Rosenberg said. After an Aug. 17 concert in Santa Barbara, "it's clear that she's not going to get better until she gets off the road and rests for a while," she said. Nicks will undergo tests and treatment in Los Angeles, and hopes to return for a Las Vegas concert Aug. 25 if she responds well to medication, Rosenberg said. The two Los Angeles shows will be rescheduled, she said.
