FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MARCH 30, 1998

NICKS IS "ENCHANTED" ON SOLO CAREER-ENCAPSULATING 3-CD SET; COLLECTION TO COINCIDE WITH EXTENSIVE SOLO TOUR

The Atlantic Group has announced the forthcoming release of Stevie Nick's "ENCHANTED," a digitally remastered three-CD boxed set encapsulating the enigmatic artist's solo career on Modern/Atlantic Records. In addition to collecting material from her six solo albums-1981's "Bella Donna," 1983's "The Wild Heart," 1985's "Rock A Little," 1989's "The Other Side of the Mirror," 1991's "Timespace: The Best of Stevie Nicks," and 1994's "Street Angel" - the 46-track set is highlighted by a number of previously unreleased tracks, studio demos, and live cuts, along with songs Nicks has contributed to motion picture soundtracks. "Enchanted" is also distinguished by the first CD release of material from Stevie's 1973 pre-Fleetwood Mac studio collaboration with Lindsey Buckingham, "Buckingham/Nicks." All told, "Enchanted" is a celebration of Nicks' solo success, artistic achievement, and collaborations with some of her most gifted peers.

"Enchanted" is slated to arrive in stores on April 28th. One of the set's previously unreleased tracks, "Reconsider Me," a Warren Zevon-composed number recorded during the "Rock a Little" sessions, will be the collection's first single. The track is scheduled to ship to radio outlets nationwide on April 10th. The song was originally produced by Jimmy Iovine, with newly added instrumental tracks being produced by Andrew Slater (Fiona Apple, Wallflowers) and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge. A companion video is in production.

The box is impressively complemented by a full-color, 64-page booklet, featuring many previously unpublished photos.

In conjunction with the release of "Enchanted," Stevie is embarking on a 40-date U.S. solo tour, beginning May 27th at Hartford Meadows in Hartford, Connecticut. This itinerary marks Stevie's first solo tour since 1994. She toured with Fleetwood Mac throughout 1997 and, earlier this year, performed with the band on the occasion of their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In January, the legendary group received the "Lifetime Achievement" award at the annual Brit Awards. The band was also nominated in three categories in the 40th Annual Grammy Awards and performed during this year's live Grammy telecast.
