Stevie Nicks 2008 - FAN REVIEWS

6/22/08 Bank of America Pavilion Boston, MA

While Stevie claimed that 1973 was a good year for song writing, in 2008 her voice, stage presence, and appreciation for fans has remained at an all time high. This is my 7th show seeing the rock goddess and it never gets old for me. Perhaps the moist poignant highlights of the evening were classics like Standback, Dreams, Rhiannon, Edge of Seventeen and Gold Dust Woman. Landslide and Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You were sung with such tenderness that it brought tears to my eyes, as I am sure many others too. Stevie continues to prove that her music is timeless—this was truly a magical evening.

Wow... what a great show. I've seen Stevie many times, including the Boston shows the last three years and this was by far, the best of them all! The crowd's energy for Stevie was electric. She sounded and looked excellent! You could tell she was into it. Thanks Stevie for another terrific night!

My husband and I just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. His gift to me was center stage, third row tickets. I am a life-long Stevie fan and this was the best gift he could have given me. We've seen Fleetwood Mac three times and Stevie solo once before. This was amazing as we were about 20 feet in front of her the entire night!

Robin, thank you SO MUCH, for arranging things ahead of time with the two rows in front of us, allowing for us all to rush the stage before Stevie's walk at the end of Edge of Seventeen. You are the BEST!! I can't believe we actually made it right up to the stage! Stevie shook hands with my husband and I was able to touch the back of her hand!

Stevie looked great, sounded great and was very genuine and gracious to us all. What a perfect night, one we will never forget, and one we will relive and talk about over and over for the rest of our lives. Simply magical.

Hi

For the first time in my life I had the opportunity to see Stevie Nicks Live June 22, 08 in Boston. She was great! I was completely blown away by her, and the positive energy she radiates. The music was as always, awesome, her outfits, very pretty, and the way she carries herself is like no other. Amazing, she is simply amazing. I will forever hold on to the memory of being there that night in June, while Stevie rocked the house.

I would like to submit this review for the Stevie concert I just attended here in Boston:

Sunday, June 22, 2008.... Boston... The Queen of Rock has come to grace us with her presence, voice, and beauty once again.

I attended this concert with my older sister, Lani, who was the person who got me into loving Stevie in the first place. Lani hasn't seen Stevie in 10 years!!! I told her, "Watch out, you're in for a real treat!" And boy was she!! Stevie's set list is the same as previously stated on here, so no need to repeat that. Stevie was dead on with everything that night... the boots, her voice, the gorgeous new clothes.. EVERYTHING! Her hair was so long and flowing.. Just gorgeous! Stevie was so happy and laughing and joking a lot which was wonderful! The weather was supposed to be torrential downpours, but Stevie must have wished them away because they held off until the NEXT DAY! She even mentioned the fact that they flew in the night before specifically because it was supposed to rain that night... to our surprise and Stevie's the weather was just gorgeous! I had 2nd row center seats and Lani had 4th row on the side. Lani has NEVER been that close at a Stevie concert before!! We new the set list so as soon as "How Still My Love" started, we knew "Edge of 17" was next. I climbed over the front row seats and was right up to the stage. I felt a tap on my shoulder a minute later and it was my sister!!! She saw me climb over the seats and moved her way through the crowd to get to me and to get closer to get a chance to touch Stevie.

Well, here comes the point when Stevie is about to take her infamous "walk."
She made her way over to us and I had my arms stretched out and I held onto her hand with my right hand then she grabbed my left hand and I told her "You're beautiful." Next she moved over and Lani got to touch her also!!!!! Imagine... never having been that close to Stevie and actually now getting to touch her!! She was so happy and I was so happy for her!! There is also a new T-shirt available. It's a black t-shirt with the pic of Stevie sitting down with the white ruffled skirt on. She is wearing a top hat with a silver star on it and she's holding on the hat on each side.

It was such a magical night and I can't thank you enough Stevie for putting on such a great show and coming back to Boston. WE LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH!!

This good thing just keeps getting better. Best show I have seen. The twirls and high kick in Stand Back set the mood for the evening. Just when you think Gold Dust Woman has ended Stevie returned to the mike and continued with a new ending. The three cover songs had fans on their feet as they enjoyed Stevie having a good time singing them. She was very open to the audience and as always she was attentive and appreciative of the band, dancing a little with Sharon, Jana and Lori. They were all great. Sharon, looking as regal as ever, she must have some ancient royal blood, handled Sorcerer as beautifully as she does Edge of Seventeen. Barely made the last train out of the city but would rather be stranded in Boston than miss one note. Taliesin was certainly present at this concert!

I was taken to Boston for a surprize by my dear friend, and unbenounced to me I didn't realize at the time I was on my way to see Stevie Nicks live in concert. It definitely was a big surprize to find out at the last minute that I was going to see Stevie Nicks in concert. It was the first Stevie Nicks concert I had ever been to and it was awesome and she rocks. It was a night to remember, especially to hear Landslide live.

...I'm getting older too~ thank you Stevie.

Love, Bobby M. Strout II
