Fleetwood Mac - FAN REVIEWS

Hello All..... Last night I attended what I feel was one of the Best Fleetwood Mac Concerts ever at the Prudential Center in Newark,NJ ..... Stevie, Mick, John, and Lindsey got things off to a start at 8:19pm with a subdued version of Secon...d Hand News which was due to the absence of longtime keyboard artiste Christine McVie. From there they moved onto the classic The Chain and Dreams. Both Stevie and Lindsey proved through the night that they were still the driving force of the band especially when Lindsey went into a wild finger picking version of Big Love. Lindsey also talked about their upcoming EP which will be released next week and played Sad Angel which gained the approval of the capacity crowd in the PruCenter. Not to be overlooked, Stevie brought out several of her classics Gypsy, Rhiannon, and a roaring version of Stand Back. The real show stopper for Stevie was when she put on her Gold lame shawl for an intense take on Gold Dust Woman which held the audience in silent awe.... Mick and John did their part as well with a little help from Brett Tuggle doing the Christine chores and Stevie's back up singers Lori Nicks and Sharon Celani packing a lot of Hawaiian punch! My only complaint was that John McVie should've been a little less silent onstage and more of his comic and entertaining self. The Mac came back on for two great encores...World Turning and the old favourite Don't Stop....But after that when people started to leave the Pru, Stevie and Lindsey came back out and signed a fans copy of their BUCKINGHAM-NICKS album to the appreciative applause. Your's truly managed to sneak down within 20' of the pair and witnessed the pure emotion and care for all of us diehard Mac Fans..... Stevie kindly scolded us all by saying "This is all your fault," which meant it was our never ending adoration and clamour to hear the old Classics from Rumours/White Album eras that kept the Band going all these long and storied years.....This was no showboating but a genuine compassion from all of the Mac which is why Mick said Stevie was truly the "Angel" of the group.... Mick had the final word of the evening when he told all of us...."Be kind to each other" Magnificent......See more
