Throughout months of anticipation, at long last…the arrival of this evening! The evening began with the prompt arrival of one’s chariot – stretch limo, 5:11 P.M. Arrival time ~ 6:46 p.m. – the doors to the venue sprang open – nary a line! Time now to locate seats – 7:18 p.m.

Section 101, Row 5, Seat 21 (aisle) This go around switched it up abit – for this section shall be on Lindsey’s side of the stage… Excellent seats all the same – Perfection …four rows from the floor section – one section shy of the stage…Binnocs shall not be required!

Soft music filled the venue for this, sold out show to just shy of 20,000 dedicated fans! Fans trickling in – by 7:54 p.m. arriving now within droves. The crowd, most diverse; ages ranging between 70’s, 60’s, 50’s, 40’s, 30’s, 20’s …

Seated towards one’s right, a couple located their seats – 7:36 p.m. After moments passed, idle conversation ensued – John and Estelle. Discovered, they too were from Thousand Oaks – Lynn Ranch development. Inquiring with the gentleman, if they had attended previous Fleetwood Mac concerts, found John’s remark quite odd –“Sort of” (thoughts were, how should one come to “sort of” attend a Fleetwood Mac performance?) John further offered, He was once within the Musical Industry. He, his Company (DW Drums.com) built Drum Kits, for the past 40+ years… (the one Mick plays on). Many a year long dear friend with Mick. Suggested look up U-Tube Video – Mick Fleetwood Cherry Pick.

Within an instant, the soft background music shall abruptly be brought down, the lights darken, followed by momentary quiet hush filled the venue. 8:23 p.m.

With this, the crowd instantly sprang up from our seats to our feet…followed by cheers, whistles claps, and chants filling the venue.

The stage remained dark, silent, motionless, in what appeared to be lengthy delay. Shadowed images moving slightly about upon the rear of the stage. Such a grand entrance; as within the stark silence abruptly encompassed the venue, within an instant, the initial guitar strums, symbols, white lights sprang to life… revealing the stage, Stevie, Fleetwood Mac.. within a burst of bright white light - flowing… erupting into Second Hand News. (8:26 p.m.)

The mysticism of this Magickal evening has now begun…we shall be on our way ~

Stevie, emanating radiance, glowing beauty as ever.. smiling eyes, clear crisp, spot-on voice… her beautiful long blonde hair flowing, reaching the small of her back, the ends slightly curled, result of the warm humidity floating throughout the night air.

Stevie’s voice - like that of an angel throughout the night. Beautiful, exuding an inner solace – confidence, contentment, centered, grounded and focused. Radiant beauty! Adorned within a new custom black dress accentuating Stevie’s fit figure, brushing just below the knee. Flowing Mystical hemline ~ Black leggin’s. Ankle Black boots.

Replacing the signature crescent Moon necklace in that dangles from Stevie’s neck, now shall be diamond choker necklace, matching dangle earrings.

Stevie danced and twirled throughout the evening – gorgeous! Addressing the audience, speaking often. Welcoming us to The City of Angels, curtsy, thanking us for spending the evening with Fleetwood Mac! It felt good to be back in Los Angeles.

Stevie shared with us the back story of how the Fleetwood Mac of today came to be. Offering, the ‘story’ initially began as a nine minute tale..promised to shorten it up. Playfully stepping away from the mic, whispering into Lindsey’s ear – Mick offered comedic wild-eyed expression..gotta love his mannerisms.

From here, Lindsey continued on: Many years ago, Mick expressed interest with Lindsey’s artistic musicianship – pointedly asking him, “How would he like to join Fleetwood Mac”? Lindsey thought for a moment – Then replied, “You know, if you want me, my girlfriend (pointing within Stevie’s direction, Stevie curtsy); comes too. We are a complete deal”. With little thought, Mick agreed…”and that”, Lindsey continues…”is how Fleetwood Mac came to be – 38 years ago”.

Lindsey - wore his signature skinny jeans, dress shirt, black leather jacket, black boots. Leathered cord dangled from around his neck.

Lindsey spoke often, welcoming us to Los Angeles!…continuing with ‘it has been three years since we, as a band, have reconvened.

Lindsey has come within his own - mastering his craft – one of the finest musicians ever. With each and every guitar strum, enticing the guitar to sing! Displaying amazing musicianship to this day…dancing…prancing…jumping…slight- half run – robotic movements skips across the stage , launching into feverish dance moves…all, less missing a note! Refining his craft during his performance of “I’m So Afraid”…heart-beat pumping energies..indeed! Not ever more a stellar performance then during “Big Love”…guitar riff continuing, growing within an intensity as no other…with the final climax, ‘this’ final strum… as the audience erupted with cheers, claps and whistles…standing ovation for this amazing performance… clutching his chest…heaving, arms waving within the direction of the audience in appreciation of thanks, mouthing thank you.. as he departs the stage. Brilliance within his finest hour ~ Mick - was adorned within signature leggings, 3-button vest, short sleeve dress shirt, orange elfin footwear, complete with strategically placed gems dangling from within the area of his manhood. John – was adorned within his signature jeans, white dress shirt, vest, comfortable tennis shoes. Quite the humbled man.. Lindsey then shared ---- the following songs will be a tribute to their album “Tusk” – to this, a group of us cheered, whistled, and clapped. Lindsey continued, an Album that Warner Brother’s was neither pleased with, nor wanted. Fleetwood Mac persevered. Indeed they have. With this, Lindsey launched into “Not That Funny” Song after song emanating from the speakers a few of us remained on our feet, dancing, rocking and singing, whilst the majority remained within their seats…(people really? This album Rocks!!!) . Images of the USC Marching band displayed within the backdrop positioned near the rear of the stage during the performance of Tusk! Go Trojans!!

Most poignant memorable highlight of the night – embraced within the Magick of Fleetwood Mac… with the initial light wisps of brush ever so lightly caressing the symbols of the drums…launching into “Sister’s Of The Moon’ ! The back drop displayed glowing crescent Moon, growing to fullness as the lyrics crescendo, to the brilliant conclusion of Stevie’s haunting hushed whisper, Be My Sista…Be My Sista…sister..sister…sister Be My Sista…sister…sister…sister..sister Of The M—O—O—N! Lights darken, silhouette image of Stevie bowing.

Adore the new material – ‘Sad Angel’ as well as “Without You” folksy upbeat rhythm.

Mid-way through the performance of “World Turning” Mick launches into his manic drum solo… frenzied brilliance…of which Mick interacts with the audience, encouraging us to join in… You want More? You want more? Holding hand up to his ear.. as if to say, I cannot hear you…The crowd obliged, replying Yes…we want more...claps, whistles ensued.

During the drum solo, Lindsey re-enters the stage, promptly selecting front row seat, on the stage. Plopping down, leaning back, relaxing on his laurels, legs extended, one over the other. Thoroughly enjoying the drum solo!

Micks solo evolved, circling back to the continuation of World Turning, as first, Lindsey, Stevie (from rear of stage); the girls, then John took their positions, continuing all within perfect sync. Less missing a beat.

Mick provided the honour of band Introductions…

Much emotion was shared between both Stevie and Lindsey…hugging, embracing.. with the conclusion of ‘Sara’.

Stevie dedicated Landslide to Nigel Lythgoe, of “So You Think You Can Dance?” fame. Thanking him for keeping dance alive.

Pillar back drop displayed close-up of Stevie and Lindsey during many songs ~

I went to the Hollywood Bowl with a good friend, we had box seats. We had a GREAT time then I went with my two nieces to the Staple Center, we were in the nose bleed seat (standing the whole time). We also had a GREAT time. It did not matter were I sat, you all sounded AWESOME. Fleetwood Mac has been my favorite (#1) group for over 30 years. It was wonderful to hear the old songs & new ones. Take Care! Love Always
