Fleetwood Mac was awesome!
Five of us were fortunate enough to se Fleetwood Mac at Spokane's Veteran's Arena on Saturday, 6/29/13. Mary Verner (ex-mayor of Spokane), her granddaughter Bariah (9), drove to Spokane, WA from Olympia, WA to see Fleetwood Mac, along with my two daughters Brianna (16), Olivia (9), and myself. Fleetwood Mac was awesome! I saw Lindsey several years ago at the Knitting Factory, and until then, I didn't realize what a great guitarist he is. The whole group was at the top of their game. Stevie sounded awesome, and had a great stage presence. Mick performed an amazing drum solo, and John's bass playing was solid as Gorilla glue. They gave the crowd two encores. After the music ended Stevie and Mick thanked the crowd for being so loyal, and basically told them that without their loyalty they wouldn't be able to do what they do; and that's play music. John didn't talk (as usual), but the other three were genuinely very sincere. During the concert they would occasionally share history of the band. They played as one, and left their hearts on the stage. It was a great concert! If you have a chance to see them in their 2013 tour … don’t miss it.
