Well Tom Petty and those Heartbreakers took us down the rabbit hole and back again on Wednesday night....with a very special guest: Stevie Nicks!! I have NEVER missed a Stevie show and as a Stevie fan I refused to miss this show, on the Summer Solstice no less....I got my ticket the day before the show by winning my very FIRST Ebay auction!! Rhiannon was with me, it seemed that I was destined to be there, for Destiny Rules, everything just fell into place...there was Magick all around. How could I miss this, a must for any Stevie fan, to see her rockin' out with her best friend Tom. And to see Insider Live, what a rare gift. I was really hoping they would do Needles & Pins too. I was 20 rows from the stage and managed to weasel my way to front row!! Tom & the HB's were amazing, as usual, but the energy that Stevie added to the show was amazing. The crowd was incredible, singing along to every song, dancing and sharing in the music. I sat alone but quickly made friends with my seat mates, Kimba & Boo Boo (you guys ROCK if you read this!!)...and we danced the night away like we were long lost buds!! That's what Stevie, Tom and good Rock~n~Roll does best is bring people together....During the solo of Free Fallin was my favorite, the strobe lights went on and all you could see was Stevie's hair and shawl flailing wildly as she rocked out with her tamborine...WOW!! She still to this day takes my breath away with her presence. I loved that Tom let her sing solely on Need To Know...I love her on that song...."...and I think you should go..."!! American Girl was incredible...with Stevie in her top hat and plume feather, so beautiful, like the feather that was......They really looked like they were having so much fun up there. I had written Stevie a letter about my upcoming wedding and have mailed two copies to her already....I decided to bring a copy of the letter with me just in case there was an opportunity to get it to her...and I was lucky enough to hand it directly to Mike Campbell at the end of the show and he went right back after taking it and stood next to Stevie!! So, there is a good chance she finally got it...or at least it made it to within a foot of her, LOL!! Third times a charm. So a BIG thank you to Tom & the HB's for sharing yourselves with us for the last 30 years, to Stevie for once again rockin' my soul....and to my Sista Amy & hubby Ray, Michelle & Pat for sharing in this amazing night with me.

You guys were so fun to party with.....Until next time.......keep rockin'....

Had such a great time at this concert! TP and the Heartbreakers were Unbelieveable mix in a little Stevie Nicks and it was unforgettable! The fans sang every song so loud you could hear us while TP was singing. Last year I saw Stevie and Don Henley do Leather and Lace and now I got to see her do Stop Draggin my Heart Around with Petty! This concert was alot of fun mixed in with GREAT music.

Thank You Stevie for another Unforgettable evening!!

I LOVED seeing Stevie at the Show last night (21 June), at Tweeter Center in MA. My boyfriend and I had surprise tickets from his boss (that couldn't attend). I definitely have enjoyed Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker's music, however, I LOVE Stevie Nicks! (My boyfriend thought he had heard that Stevie might be there, so I was really hoping she was, and beyond thrilled to see and hear her there). We live in Maine (closer to Mid-Maine, but outskirts of Southern Maine), and we couldn't wait to get to MA for the concert as soon as possible after our work schedules permitted us to leave.

Stevie is an inspiration! She is so amazing with her song lyrics, femininity, as well as with her beautiful voice! I think that women want to be Stevie, and in that, live vicarious through her graceful (and fun) stage performances. Plus, she has given girls and women someone to look up to, as she is so talented, but also successful in a world that tends to favor men over women (in the rock world, much less otherwise). I'm 38 and have always held onto my sense of being a woman, and yes, in part to Stevie. She has shown that women can be strong and soft all at the same time, and in keeping with looking like, and acting like, a woman. She has given me over the years the confidence to enjoy my own sense of strength while still being a 'lady.'

In terms of the concert last night, Stevie made that concert perfect for me, and the general audience was more than thrilled to see her come onto the stage! She performed with the beauty that I've seen in her video's, and she sounded like an angel! She looks amazing, and I was so excited to see and hear her that I screamed out loud (for the first time...I like Tom Petty a lot, but I LOVE Stevie)!! It was fun to enjoy her the many times she came out to sing with Tom. She had a wild hat on for the last song at the very end of the concert, and it was apparent that the concert was so fun because she, and Tom, and everyone else, were all having so much fun themselves! It was just such a blast! Plus, the audience was made up of all age groups, including a lot of people in their 20's. It was really something to witness the age groups involved all truly having a party right alongside Stevie, and Tom, and the gang! :-)!

Stevie...Thank you so much for performing at the concert last night (21 June, MA). You've touched so many lives, including mine, in such positive ways! I just can't thank you enough! You have given me hope, with your music, and style, many times that I needed that boost. Thank you! Love, Cheri Ashland, Maine (cheri@mpdu.com)

PS: Stevie...My daughter, Hope, aged almost 11, also loves your music, and appearance! It's neat to share music together in that Mom-Daughter way, and to feel proud that my little girl can also look up to you as a woman that is successful, talented, and a lady, as well. I definitely want my daughter to feel that she can be all she can be, and be a feminine person, too. I just can't thank you enough for sharing of yourself as you do...you inspire many!

Great show tonight the place was packed!! Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers did a great job!! I love when Tom played teh maracas'!!! like he was mic jagger and bob Dylan at teh same time casting a great spell on the whole place. You could hear everyone singing together it was a great night and a great venue. Tom at one point even said that he could hear the people singing louder than he was. He is a fun loving guy and still wicked hippy ish :) He was great I love when he sings at the end too People you make me feel so good inside....

Stevie was right in her element tonight she grabbed teh mic like she usually does in her own show s and her and Petty did a great SDMHA. I love these two together I have to say more than anyone else I have ever seen Stevie duet with. Stevie was jamming the heck outta her tambourine again and dancing so fast. Near teh end she changed again and she had a great Hat on that one with her feathers in it and also her boots and pants. The guy next to me was bummed out she didn't wear a dress through out the whole show. I met a neat girl named Julie whos nephew too has cancer. So we talked and she was back stage adn she said Stevie said so cutely to tom" Thanks you Tom" I can only imagine him saying " Your welcome babe " back to her. Anyway this show was better I think than NY because it was outside and Stevie s hair was blowing in the wind her game was right there and her voice was flawless. Great night feels good to be home safe and sound and Boston tom petty said was the first place he recorded his first album. Saving Grace was awesome. Ever one knew the words to everything. I need to know Steve wailed at and I need to know. She had a pink chiffon shawl on ( but it wasn't the one I made her) Oh well.... I needed to see her Glad I went ...............peace love and Stevie nicks
