The Tom Petty concert in Phoenix was great!! Tom Petty introduced the band and he said please welcome the best heartbreaker of them all "Stevie Nicks" and the crowd went wild. Stop draggin my heart around and the insider were great duets. Tom Petty and Stevie are both great live performers and it was great to see them on stage together.....the overall performance was absolutely fantabulous!

Let me start by saying that I bought these tickets as a 50-50 gamble that Stevie would be there. Had she not, I don't think I would have picked my tickets up. Needless to say I was thrilled when I read that Stevie would indeed be at the show!! Now, for the show itself. I would have been a fool not to have gone to see Tom. He was FANTASTIC!! That man is a true show man. He and the Heartbreakers totally rocked!! From beginning to end they were incredible. He never slowed down. Now, for Stevie...She was absolutely magnificent!! To finally get to hear her sing Stop Draggin' My Heart Around live with Tom was an incredible thrill. They sounded exactly like the original recording!! As if time had stood still. I Need To Know with The Heartbreakers backing had never sounded so good. The Insider was very tender and moving. Her voice was so pure on that song. The absolute showstopper was THE STROBE LIGHT DANCE!!! Words cannot describe it. I have seen Stevie live 5 times previously (and met her) and I have NEVER seen her do anything that incredible before. It was like time suspended itself. When she finished I was absolutely breathless!! The last song with her in her top hat and shaking the tambourine, she looked so cool. She seemed quite satisfied to be a lady rocker hanging with the boys. She looked incredible and very beautiful. I can't believe she is 58. Once again Stevie gave me one of the most special memories of my life. I can't wait until next time!!
