The family has had an overwhelming request as to where friends can send flowers. As most everyone who knew Jess knows, he was on the board of directors for The Arizona Heart Institute for over 30 years. He was very passionate and instrumental in getting the Arizona Heart Hospital built and most recently a driving force in seeing the culmination of the Arizona Heart Institute Research and Development building funded. Not only did he make enormous contributions on his own, but he worked in conjunction with his daughter, Stevie, in orchestrating 6 hugely successful benefit concerts for the foundation. Because of his ongoing belief in the Arizona Heart Foundation, in lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made on behalf of Jess Nicks.
