Dear Debbi,

Things are very busy for Stevie right now. In addition to being in the studio working on her next solo project, Stevie has plans with Fleetwood Mac...as we all know and love them best. The reunion of Stevie, Lindsey, Christine, John and Mick is in the planning stages. Presently the plan includes a television special as well as a "Live Unplugged" album from the Mac. For that reason, Stevie's new release will no doubt be delayed and follow the world tour that is now in the works.

Another benefit in Phoenix recently included Stevie doing a rockin' set at a benefit full of famous musicians. There were two shows and the reactions were most positive. First and most important to her, her voice is in fine form. Anyone who has seen her in recent months will tell you this woman looks stunning.

In a recent interview with Celine Dione she cited her siblings, Janis, Aretha and Stevie as the people to whom she looks up to in the music world. This was in a March Los Angeles Times Calendar Section article.

Long ago Stevie gave the right to use her name and likeness to sell merchandise or to run a fan club to her brother Chris. For reasons best known to him, Chris chooses to not have a fan club and limits his merchandising to her concert tour appearances.

I regret that we still have no photos to send out and I will be happy to get any of your favorites signed and returned to you. Please limit your item for autograph to one per person and include a self addressed, stamped envelope large enough to accomodate your photo, disc insert or whatever. I strongly suggest those of you who are sending photos include cardboard and mark your envelopes to let the postal workers know there's a photo inside and not to bend it. As aggravating as the U.S. Postal Service can be, it's still a very reliable, inexpensive way to communicate.
