THOSE who missed three days of peace, love and music the first time around in 1969 in upstate New York probably saw pictures of half a million members of the alternative nation gathered to watch Jimi Hendrix, the Who, Santana, Sly and the Family Stone. Or they saw Woodstock, the movie.

For those who can't get to the original Woodstock site, Yasgur's Farm in Bethel, this coming weekend for A Day in the Garden music festival, check out the webcast.

Radiowoodstock.com, in association with WDST-FM in Woodstock will produce the online coverage, including performances by Joni Mitchell, Pete Townshend, Stevie Nicks, Don Henley, Lou Reed, Richie Havens, Ten Years After, Third Eye Blind, Joan Osborne and others.

Between the live performances there will be commentary, interviews, images, music and backstage action. The webcast will be hosted by Havens on Friday and Saturday, and Joey Ramone on Sunday. Web surfers will be able to experience the entire Day in the Garden by tuning into Infoseek.com.

Radiowoodstock.com is an Internet-only radio station and companion web site that carries live performances from Woodstock's own Tinker Street Cafe, Richie Havens' show Global Groove, and also publishes an electronic magazine called Woodstock Vibe.
