At "Enchanted Tour" concerts, Best Buy representatives will be handing out vouchers good for a FREE* collector's two-CD set. The set contains new music from great artists in the same music genre. In addition, the package includes valuable coupons towards Best Buy purchases.
"Best Buy looks for unique ways to increase awareness of artists and tours," said Gary Arnold, Best Buy Vice President-Marketing. "We're delighted to support Stevie's solo tour and to bring her fans that something extra."
Best Buy's tour support also includes the creation of a national TV spot, promotion of the "Enchanted Tour" in Best Buy's newspaper inserts, which reach more than 37 million households each week, plus a creative sign package for display at concert venues. In-store signage will promote tour dates, Nicks' recent release of "Enchanted," a three-CD boxed set encapsulating the artist's solo career on Modern/Atlantic Records, and her deeper catalog titles.
Best Buy has partnered this summer with some of the biggest names in the music business as presenting sponsor for six major tours. The artists currently slated to tour under the "Best Buy Presents" banner are Jimmy Page/Robert Plant, Stevie Nicks including special guest Boz Scaggs, Janet Jackson including special guest Usher, Michael Bolton/Wynonna, Chicago/Hall & Oats, and Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfest '98.
