Below are reviews of a fan party on October 29th at Omega DC in Washington, DC.
It was a magical night. Exactly what I would call a "Nicks-Fix" when Stevie isn't touring. (Australia doesn't count). The Halloween party at Omega in Washington D.C. is what I'm referring to. Many Stevie fans gathered at the club to celebrate the bewitching holiday in style. My friend and I dressed up as "Stevie-cats". The atmosphere was incandesecent and inviting. There was a beautifully decorated display table with pictures of Stevie, Stevie fans, candles and treats.
The VJ, at the club put on a phenomenal presentation of old and new videos of Stevie. Many of these I had never seen before. The music was loud and incisive. You couldn't help but dance and twirl. And if you wanted to take the stage and pretend you were a star for the night, there was karaoke on the second floor.
Thank you to the VJ and the people who helped put together such an extraordinary production. The time and dedication that was necessary to have this affair be one to remember was crystal-clear.
Please, let's do it again next year!
