New Stevie Nicks album due in May Stevie Nicks is ready to reassume her place in the spotlight with the release of Trouble in Shangri-La on May 1st, her first solo album since 1994's Street Angel. Produced in part by her friend Sheryl Crow, Nicks also tapped the production talents of John Shanks, Melissa Etheridge and Pierre Marchand, best known for his hand in recording five albums by Sarah McLachlan. McLachlan, a longtime pal of Nick's makes a guest appearance on the album, adding her haunting pipes to "Love Is." Sheryl Crow comes over to the other side of the board to sing and play guitar on "Sorcerer," which she co-wrote with Nicks. Also on hand in this virtual Lilith Fair is Dixie Chick Natalie Maines, singing back up harmonies with "Too Far From Texas," while Macy Gray growls on "Bombay Sapphire." Nicks will also show up on the little screen when she guest stars on Chris Isaak's new cable show on March 12th, along with actresses Minnie Driver and Bai Ling. She has also contributed the tune "Touched by an Angel" to the soundtrack for the upcoming film Sweet November, which stars Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron. The soundtrack was released on February 6th, and the movie will be in theater near you on February 16th.
