John...you won't believe it. I introduced Rosie today on the show that Stevie is on. I had no idea that Stevie was going to be on this show when I planned this trip. This is the most exciting event I have ever attended. I am also a huge Rosie fan. It was strictly Fate that i saw Stevie today. In 1998 I bought a certificate for 2 Rosie tickets at a charity auction. About 3 months ago, my friend Mary and I decided to come to New York and we wanted to see Rosie while we were there. We cashed in the certificate and got tickets for the May 3rd taping. At this point I had no idea that Stevie was going to be a guest....in fact I dodn't know until we got there (I was out of town and didn't have a computer...sorry John). When we got to the show one of Rosie's people was talking to us and I told them that I was a Stevie Nicks fan and that I have loved Stevie forever. They asked me to sing a Stevie song and I sang a few lines of Stand Back. They told me they wanted me to introduce Rosie at the beginning of the show. They asked me to fill out this questionaire and told me to get ready. When the show started I said a few lines to introduce Rosie. Rosie then talked to me a little about Stevie. Watch for me...I was wearing a white t-shirt with a pink rose and pink pants. I was sitting on the front row....I can't believe I got front row to watch my two favorite people...Stevie and Rosie. Stevie came out and sang Every Day. She talked to Rosie in two segments. I don't want to spoil it so I won't say too much. Anyway, Rosie asked Stevie to sing Landslide so she did it and dedicated it to Rosie. It was great. They gave everyone in the audience a CD of Trouble in Shangri-La. John...be sure to tape the show for me.
