I was also wearing the Nicks Fix shirt and alot of people commented on that too. I got a handful of autographs for my book. Thank you. Tacoma Wash. Tacoma Dome, October 11
Hi John! And all you Nicks Fix Fans!!
It is 12:20 p.s.t. the concert ended no less than 2 hours ago. Stevie
came on stage holding Lindsey's hand when they all came on stage to sing
the Chain. She looked so pretty. We had row 20 tickets. Not bad. She
had on a black skirt that had 3 or 4 layers. One of the layers was
glittery..but not as shiny as those bracelets! She had those on the
entire evening.
Dreams - she sounded so good. She pointed to Lindsey at the end of the song where she sings "..you'll know ". That was so cool.
On "Bleed to Love Her" she lip synced "...she takes my breath away". She stood over by Christine when Lindsey was giving his little speech at the beginning of the song. She is so darn sweet! The crowd always stood when she sang.
Gypsy - she has a new twist that goes "You say hey! You see your gypsy.." And she did "and a memory is all that is left for you now" instead of (left of her now) Way cool! At the end of the song she said something like the world? is full of gypsies..thank you". Then she was completely off the stage for Big Love and Go Insane.
Landslide - this was really neat..she said "I want to dedicate this to Uncle because he lives in Tacoma and because I love him". Oh it was so sweet. Lindsey got really close to her at the end of the song and she was completely facing him singing, with her back to the crowd. At the end Lindsey took off his guitar and gave her a looonnnggg hug!
Sweet Girl - instead of starting out "AND he says what do you.." she simply sang "What do you..". she was singing to Lindsey the part where it's all about "protection". At the end of Sweet Girl she said "thank you".
You Make Lovin'Fun - Stevie was facing Mick and she danced from one side of his drum set to the other facing him. It was so cute. At the end of the song Mick or Lindsey said "Christine McVie" and Stevie shook her tambourine for her. Very sweet.
My Little Demon - our Stevie girl was twirling around!
Standback!!!! Stevie rocked! She wore the famous Stand Back shawl. She sang so awesome! She was really getting into it. The crowd loved it! There was one part in the song "..more than I could do.." she pointed her finger across the audience..EVERYONE went wild! Stevie played the morocca's during Oh Daddy..never seen that before...totally awesome. Then Stevie left the stage for "Not that Funny"..at the end of Micks drum/vest solo he went to speak in Stevie's microphone and said "This mic is so low..Stevie..oh my God..chuckle chuckle".
Rhiannon - she wore a black dress/boustierre? type shirt with spaghetti like strings with a brown crush velvet, lacy pattern overcoat. It was so pretty. In the beginning when she says "..and he says Rhiannon" the crowd said "Stay". That was so fun! She twirled and smiled. She didn't sing the "I know" parts tho. No one did. But she did really jam at the end "..try hard, you can't leave her.." FABULOUS! Chris said "Stevie Nicks" after Rhiannon. Everyone was already on their feet!
2nd Hand News - Stevie sang the bawm bawm bawm part w/Lindsey. Treat!
Silver Spring - She had on the black dress/brown overcoat like thing that was open in the front. Brown suede boots. She talked to the blonde back up singer before the song. The second "I'll follow you down.." she sang to Lindsey. He pointed his guitar at her. High Drama! At the end of the song..her back was to the audience and she sang not two feet from Lindsey facing him. Wow.
Stevie sang more in Tusk also..more than the Dance video. When Lindsey, Chris and John were jamming during Tusk, Stevie stayed on the other side of Micks drum set. She was watching them and playing her tambourine.
Stevie went to the right of the stage before Go Your Own Way and a 'wardrobe lady' took off the brown coat from Stevie and put on a Tux w/tails like jacket. She sang the "packin' up...shackin' up.." part. When they sang "I'd give you my world.." Lindsey and Stevie were looking at eachother. Stevie would face Mick during Lindsey's guitar solo's. She smiled at the audience when she was singing "another lonely day". On the other G.Y.O.W. guitar solo she stood by John and was jammin' her tambourine w/him. she did her little march. It was so neat! She waved to the audience after the song and accepted a bouquet of roses. Mick came up beside her and took her hand when they left the stage. Then she came back holding hands with Lindsey till they were at Lindsey's guitar mark. She still had on the black tux jacket for Don't Stop. Stevie was shaking her finger on the part "Don't you look back..". She had her glow in the dark tambourine. At the end .. Stevie said " From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for sharing the concerts with us because it's just for us..you know?" That was really cute. Stevie looked really great! After Farmers Daughter, this is funny, Stevie was getting ready to walk off the stage..she was waving to everyone..then Mick or someone motioned for her to come back and take a bow..she was gigglin' like "oops" and put her hands to her like "I cant believe I did that". That made the entire band smile. Thank you Stevie! I can't wait for the next show! October 17!! Irvine Meadows! Get those Nicks Fix passes on.
Hello John and Nicks Fix fans,
Here's the review of the nights concert. It's midnight now and the show
ended at 11:00..(they started around 8:40)
The Chain - Stevie wore a black dress, her hair was straight and she played the glow in the dark tambourine. At the end Stevie said "Thank you everyone. Thank you for coming".
Dreams - Black dress, tan suede boots..no tambourine. Stevie stayed at the mic during Lindsey's guitar 'part' and swayed. She looked real good and sounded awesome! During "...players only love you when they're playing.." Stevie put both hands on the mic and looked at Lindsey.
Everywhere - Stevie played the glowing tambourine. She faced Mick, playing the tamb. while Christine was singing. She stood still and jammed w/the tambourine and was shaking her head during a drum part. Cool. She held the tambourine close in front of her during the "ahh ah ahhh ah" part. Then she exited stage right to the put on the gold sparkly shawl for...
Gold Dust Woman - Stevie was really into it vocally like in the video..she danced up to John with her arms opening the shawl..looking at him. Gold lights were shining on her..it was very cool. She pointed to Lindsey and sang "...now tell me is it over now..." she was doing alot of the hand 'things' like the video. Ending the song Stevie did 6 full slow spins. There was only one spotlight on then, and it was on her making the shawl really sparkle. She stopped and faced Mick with her arms out holding the shawl. When the song ended..Stevie took off the shawl..right there on stage and laid it on Micks drum platform.
I'm So Afraid - same outfit (black w/tan boots) Stevie played a black tambourine. She stood way back by Christine in the beginning. She was looking at Lindsey while singing " black as night.." then I couldn't see the stage anymore (lawn seats).
Temporary One - Stevie was singing with one hand on the mic. At the end of the song she danced way back to the right of Mick's drums.
Bleed to Love Her - Stevie was talking to John during Lindsey's 'speech'. In the beginning of the song she sstayed by Christine watching Lindsey. She nodded to "L" after the first chorus. Stevie was playing the tambourine dancing towards Micks drums at the end.
Gypsy - Stevie sings this so good in concert. She sings some words longer than we've ever heard. "..oohhh undergrooouund.." the lights were purple, pink and teal..it was so pretty. "I'm back to the gypsy". And she did the " You said Hey! You see your gypsy.." At the end during the music part she danced over to John. When the song was over Stevie said "We all still want to be that gypsy, right?" She was smiling. Then Mick took her hand and guided her off stage.
Big Love - not on stage
Sweet Girl - some variations from the C.D. were "What do you love to do" ..... "I still hear THEIR words well I waited all my life.." She looked at Lindsey on it's "all about protection". Stevie really got into it on the last lines "Well Come down here for a minute.." She sounded real good. When it was over she said "Thank you..very much"
Standback - STEVIE WAS ROCKIN' she wore a black and gold shawl over her black dress. She didn't sing the 2nd body part of the song..she sang this kinda different.." so I walked on down the line away from you.." was repeated many times with some variation. But she was jammin' THE WHOLE TIME! Wow. Standback is a must see! At the end she jumped up and down in front of Micks drums.
Landslide - Stevie dedicated this to "Don". She said "you know who you are. And to you guys. You give us a reason to play this song"? (not 100% sure on that). Stevie faced Lindsey during his part of the song. She sang "snow" really hard core with head going back. The crowd went crazy! Lindsey hugged her afterwords and chatted w/Stevie. Then she said " We thank you very much ". She's so nice. p.s. it was the black dress with red overcoat. Oh and red suede boots..not bright. They were rad!
Silver Springs - Black dress with brown overcoat like thing. Stevie watched "L" during his solo and they smiled at eachother. She twirled during one of the music parts and dances back to Mick..it sway dancing and she was fanning the brown cape/overcoat. She took the mic and looked right "L" during "I know I could have loved you.." (ooh wow) She looked at "L" on the 2nd chorus too just like in Tacoma. Lindsey walked up to her towards the end playing his guitar facing Stevie and she sang the last lines to him.
Rhiannon - Stevie entered from stage right wearing the black dress with the brown overcoat/cape like thing. She sounded absolutley wonderful! The crowd loved it! At the end..I'm telling you Stevie gets into Rhiannon. She sang "Try hard! Try harder! You can't leave her.." The lights were blue and purple behind her. She didn't say anything at the end..but she was smiling!
Go Your Own Way - Black dress/black tuxlike jacket - red suede boots. Stevie jammed with Chris in the beginning and waits for "L" to sing. Then she came out. She faced Mick while standing by her mic. And she faced him during the guitar solos. Stevie was moving kinda like she did in the "live at the los angelas forum video for the mirage tour". That was neat. She was shaking the tamb. with high hand slaps. She did her 'little' march from the left hand stage to the right. Way cool! At the end Stevie was standing on the right of the drums, bowing with her hair all down..then on the last beat she threw her head back up. That was cool. Then she said "thank you for sharing the concert with us"
Don't Stop - Stevie played the glowing tamb. She was dancing and jamming swaying her head shoulder to shoulder. She faced the crowd and then danced backwards towards the drums. You guys are going to like this..Lindsey was looking at Stevie during the "..I never meant any harm to you.." Lindsey and Stevie were looking at each other a lot during this song. She was doing the high, one arm shake of tambourine. Stevie was really getting into it..she smiled alot.
Farmers Daughter - Stevie stood between Mick and Christine. Lindsey and Stevie came onto the stage together. She sang with one hand on the mic and one hand pulling the scarf.(like in the video). Stevie said thank you and walked off with Chris. It was really awesome! I know not all the songs are on this review. If there is something that really interests you and you want to read more of..please e-mail me. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Theresa and I are having alot of fun being on the road following Stevie.

Hello John and Nicks Fix Fans!!
The Las Vegas show ended about 2 hours ago. I have to tell you all that it really was the best show Theresa and I have seen so far! Stevie looked and sounded so good!
The Chain - She wore the black dress like in the Dance video. Stevie entered stage left. She was looking at Lindsey and singing to him on the first chorus. She wore those beautiful bracelets that sparkled. At the end of the song Stevie said " Welcome. Thank you for coming". Oh yeah..the show started at 8:30 (it was suppose to start at 8)
Dreams - Beautiful! Black dress believe tan boots. Stevie pulled on the mic scarf. She pulled her head back like she normally does on the high note of "...washes you clean..". Cool. At the end she said "Thank you very much. Welcome to our party".
Everywhere - In the beginning of the song she stood between Mick and Lindsey. She sang lower than we've seen on the "aah aaah" parts. That was kinda neat.
Gold Dust Woman - Lindsey was facing her when the song started. Stevie wore the gold sparkley shawl that is now so famous. She pulled on the mic scarf some. She danced slowly towards John on just the musical part. Ooh Stevie was rockin'! She threw her head forward on the "home" parts so that all of that 'golden' hair was covering her face. Then she shook it back into place! It was really, really cool!
At the end of the song Stevie sang "Someone say something about Gold Dust.." then she twirled seven times (slowly) faced Mick and her hands above her head when the song ended. Rad! Awesome! Then she took a bow.
So Afraid - Stevie stood behind chris while Lindsey did his schpill..then she slowly came out playing her black tambourine. Stevie sang her parts over her shoulder..kinda facing Mick. Then she exited stage right.
Temp. One. She was facing Chris. Stevie and Lindsey looked at eachother on some parts of this song. It was sweet. Bleed to Love Her - Stevie was way in the shadows..even behind John when Lindsey was talking. She played the glow in the dark tambourine. She was doing the high, two handed slaps on the tambourine. It was alot of fun!
Gypsy - Stevie was already at the mic when the lights came up. She smiled alot during this song. She said thank you very much when it ended. I have to tell you that hearing Stevie sing "so I'm back to the gypsy that I was.." It will give you goose bumps..being a big fan and all of Stevies I'm sure ya'll know what I mean. She pointed to the audience "and it all comes down to you". Way cool! Landslide - Stevie talked for a bit but all I could understand was "it's my Landslide and it's for you (the audience) EVERYONE went crazy! Lindsey gave her (what we were all looking forward to) hug. She said " We thank you very much ". She was wearing the red/black lacy overcoat like thing. She looked real pretty.
Sweet Girl - Red overcoat like thing...Stevie was holding the mic scarf while singing...she stayed by the mic when it was just music. She looked really pretty and the audience loved the song. When it was over Stevie said "Thank You".
My Little Demon - Stevie rocks!
STANDBACK! You have to know that this is the song where Stevie really rocks! She sang this song so well tonight in Vegas! She doesn't dance around the stage during this song so much...but she is vocally ALL THERE! When the song was over..this is kinda funny.. Stevie said "thank you very much..I'm about to have a heart attack now" ( I think thats what she said) She was smilin'. It was totally awesome! Oh yes she wore the black and gold shawl.
Rhiannon - Stevie wore the brown shawl/overcoat. Instead of singing "dont go" first she said "stay"..and then "Rhiannon...don't go". ooh caught me off guard. There were yellow lights shining on her. She twirled around..the lights were blue, green and purple. This song is..truly amazing. Stevie rocks at the end..almost like the early days. I'm not kidding..you got to check this out! It's a gift! "Dreamer..you can't leave her"..
2nd hand news - Stevie kept one hand on the mic most the time..she looked at Lindsey and sang..she was playing the glow in the dark tambourine! It was great!
Silver Springs - Brown overcoat/shawl...on the first music part Stevie fanned her shawl..she was sway dancing and watched Lindsey play his guitar. This song will blow you away on the drama..seriously. On the last part " you could be my silver spring..." Stevie stood still and Lindsey was playfully walking towards her. They put forehead to forehead while she sang. They were so close to eachother..it was quite charming. She sounds so good in concert!
Tusk - Stevie stayed pretty much to the right of Micks drum set. She did dance around and stayed on that side when Chris, Lindsey and John were jamming. But hey Stevie was jammin her ownself! At one part of the song..Lindsey put his head on her shoulder.
Go Your Own Way - In the beginning she was very still to the right of the stage. She wore the black jacket and red boots. Lindsey and Stevie looked at eachother and sang "packin up shackin ups all you wanna do"..Stevie was jammin' on that tambourine on the bass/drum part..almost at the end of the song she put one foot on Micks drum set..you know..gonna send this song out with a bang! Stevie did her one hand tambourine shake alot. In the end..she had both feet on the ground and on the last beat..she kicked up on leg! She's so cool! Stevie waved goodbye after this song and said thank you for coming and thank you for sharing the concerts with us.." The band left the stage and crowd was just going nuts...people had their lighters lit, standing up clapping..no one wanted this to be over..
Don't Stop - Stevie and Lindsey came out together. She played her glowing tambourine. She was facing Mick at the first part of the song. She was did the single tambourine shake.. She was really rockin in this song too. She was over by John really getting into it! You go girl! Then she exited stage right. Before Farmers Daughter..Stevie and Lindsey came out holding hands. Then she took Micks hand and they all bowed. Before they started singing..Mick was playfully teasing her..he was holding out his hands like "this is Stevie Nicks"..she stood still and was looking at him from the corner of her eye ..kinda..and was smiling..I was laughing. She is pretty funny! After the song she held Micks and Christine's hand and took a bow. Then waved goodbye.
This was my favorite concert so far. The above is taken from my notes..I was far away from the stage but I had the binoculars, a note pad and pen. I did get an autograph for my book. It's been about 10 dayus since we've been home..we fly back to Seattle tomorrow..well actually today in about 4 or 5 hours. Thanks for coming along with us. Next stop..Dallas! November 4th. Talk to you then!
