The Vegas show was my fouthth show of the tour. Everyone's opinion is valid but my perception of the show is not in agreement with some others here. I saw three of the first four shows of the tour (Columbus, Pittsburgh, Cleveland) and I did indeed expect the burn-out factor to start taking effect by the time the band got to Vegas. On the contrary, I think the band was just as amazing as they were at the beginning of the tour. This is one professional operation, for sure. Stevie's rendition of Rhiannon was mind boggling. By far it was the best rendition I've heard since 1977, and I have literally hundreds of live performances in my colllection. She absolutely tore up the ending. I really thought she was going to shred a vocal chord just like Lindsey has been shredding guitar strings all summer! I honestly did not believe Stevie could sing like that anymore, but she proved me wrong there at the MGM Grand. Stevie and Lindsey's little "bump shoulders" routine was a hoot at this show! Lindsey got totally carried away, running circles around Stevie and wrapping her legs up in his guitar chord! She lookd terrified and stunned but was absolutely cracking up, laughing hysterically all the way. You could see it in her face that she must have been thinking "what the hell is this crazy man doing?!" It was a genuine and heartwarming exchange to witness. The crowd at the MGM was not as responsive as the other shows, and I think this may be why some perceived the band's energy as lackluster. But it is important to remember that this is Las Vegas, and many in the audience are there because their tickets were either comped by the venue, or they were just there to see "a big Vegas show". You need to realize that at all the other venues probably 90% of the audience are hard core fans who waited a long, long time to see The Mac back in action. But for sure, by time Go Your Own Way came around, every single person in that gigantic arena was on their feet singing every word and dancing their butts off!

Wow! Fleetwood Mac has not only the gift of great music but the magic of turning back the clock. I swear it was twenty-five years ago and I was dancing to the same music in Lahaina and life was beautiful and Lahaina was beautiful and we were all beautiful and hopeful and free. I can't express what an elixir this concert was! Rock on!

I flew to Las Vegas last Saturday night to see the Fleetwood Mac concert. I’m back home in Phoenix now and I’m still flying! I can not get Stevie’s voice out of my head. The concert was awesome. It has been over 20 years since I saw them in concert. They are better than ever. Lindsey was amazing on his solos. Mick’s drum vest solo was the neatest thing I have ever seen at a concert. I found myself wiping away tears when Stevie leaned on Lindsey during Landslide. Everyone around me was doing the same. I wore my member’s only Penguin shirt. It attracted a lot of attention. I can not wait to see Fleetwood Mac again in Phoenix!

The Vegas show was my first Mac show! I saw Stevie on her last tour at Aladdin in Vegas in Oct 2001, but never with the Mac. I've loved them since eight years old, when Little Lies was brand new on the radio. I'll always wish I was alive in the 70's, b/c the experience of seeing them live in those magical days (as well as other bands) can never be the same today. I wanted so much to see them on the Dance, but couldn't afford tix. I promised myself that no matter how much it costed, I'd see them as much as I could if they would tour again and it happened! No tourbooks at the gift stands was very disappointing to me, and I was surprised. I was on the floor in Section D, Row G exactly in line with Lindsay's mic! The couple sitting next to me told me about the Mac shows they had been to, that they had won tix to a Portland OR show, and that I was the youngest Mac fan they've ever sat next to at a show. We shared something in common, as I did along with the other hundreds of people at the show, and that was that we we true Mac fans. I remember getting teary eyed as I looked at the ribbons adorning the mic on the left stage, knowing Stevie would be there later. I shook as they walked on stage and almost cried. I sang slong to every song and remained standing during the slow ones when most others had sat down. Lindsey and Stevie were awesome together, with the touching of their palms during Landslide, Stevie tapping her fingers on Lindsey's shoulders and the times they sang to each other made me glad to be alive. John is always awesome, the bass is always top notch even though I've rarely heard his voice. You can tell having Fleetwood Mac back together means the most to Mick and his drum solo was unexpected but awesome. I could go on and describe the way each song made me feel, but I want to say one thing to the Mac: I have loved you all since I was a young girl and your music with passion, soul bearing, and perfect rhythm is now a part of my soul. Everytime I hear one of your songs, see you on t.v., or read anything about the band, it's like reading about my family. To a lot of people, Fleetwood Mac is a rock band with good songs on the radio, but to me, the Mac is a legacy that will live on forever and can never be duplicated. Thank you for being true to yourselves, for being who you are and for coming back together again. I love you guys from the bottom of my heart and hope that this tour won't be the last one!

I just returned back from my Vegas vacation and I didn't think it could get any hotter then it was but I was wrong. There was steam flowing from the stage as Stevie & Lindsey sang to each other and the heat was on full blast. This was my forth FWM concert this year and it get better every time. I don't know what else I can say that other people haven't said but I want to stress to anyone that is even remotely a music fan to go out now and buy tickets for this show. They are going to be adding more shows soon and I only hope Im lucky enough to see them again. My best part of this story is the LUCKY day I had right b-4 the concert started. We were already in out seats when one of my friends came to me and told me that she bought better tickets for us outside the arena and it included back stage passes. I almost fainted right there. I am a hugh Stevie Nicks fan and have waited my whole life just to meet her and tell her how much I enjoy her music. I was very nervous but excited when she sang Goodbye Baby because I knew that I was going backstage very shortly. Everyone that has passes were taken into separate rooms and then you were taken to a certain member of the band to meet them. We were able to meet and take a picture with John McVie which was great but I was not able to see Stevie at all. I was kinda heart broken but I had a few hours of wondering what I would say to her if I ever met her and I guess that more than alot of people can say. I keep a wish that it will happen one day and when it does i'll be the happiest person on the planet. But for now I just want to say that the MAC is back and Lindsay played even harder if that possible, and Mic is a crazy drummer, John was a very friendly, cool guy and Stevie just is the best. I hope one day to meet ya girl. Thanks for a great night.

Hello, again. For the first time in my life, I actually attended a touring show more than once! My partner and I saw the Cleveland FM concert back in May and had plans to be in Vegas over 4th of July weekend, but we weren't planning on seeing FM again. (The best seats were $250 each in Vegas which was way more than we were willing to pay, and all the "cheaper" seats were sold out on Ticketmaster). About a week before we left for Vegas, I checked out eBay for tickets and was surprised to find several listings for the concert. I was able to bid on decent lower level seats and won them for a very good price. The set list was exactly the same, of course, but something seemed to be missing during the show. Stevie did not seem to be enjoying herself as much as she did in Cleveland. I remember her smiling so much more in Cleveland and thinking to myself how radiant she looks when she smiles. (Her eyes and entire face just light up when she smiles). She didn't have much interaction with Lindsey or the other band members, either. After a couple of her songs she barely uttered a "thank you" into the mike before she very abruptly exited the stage. The Vegas show was fine technically and did not have any of the sound problems like we had in Cleveland, and the volume of the concert was more tolerable, too. But it lacked some of the energy we felt in the previous show. "Stand Back" was great with lots of twirls, but several others songs seemed like they were being sung just to get them out of the way. Lindsey's guitar work was intense and mesmerizing, but he "pounded" on his guitar at least four times during the show, which seemed a bit redundant. (Once during the solo in "Come" was OK, the rest of the time it was a bit too much). The highlight for us this time was our ability to sneak past the ushers and get up close for the encores. The ushers were being very strict about people standing in the aisles or moving around, but before the first encore, there was a wave of people starting to leave the arena. (Why do people bother going to a concert if they are not going to stay until the end)? My partner and I made our move while everybody was blocking the ushers and made it all the way to the 5th row right in front of Stevie's mike before being stopped by an usher. She was polite and told us to keep the aisle clear so we moved into the row and the people there made room for us to stand next to them. We were able to watch both encores from that spot and it was so great to be up close to Stevie. FM will always remain my favorite band. Stevie's music has inspired and touched me in so many ways over the years and I am sure it will continue to do so for many more. Lindsey is one of the most talented guitarists ever and I feel he is totally under appreciated in the music industry. It was still a privilege to be able to see these great musicians on stage again and hear their work one more time live. Good luck to the band and I hope the fans enjoy the rest of the tour.

Hello MAC FANS!!! Just got back from Vegas after seeing The Mac perform on July 5th. WOW what an amazing show! I’ve been to a number of concerts in my life, and this one toped them all! They stepped out at around 8:30pm and played till just after 10:15pm, it was the fastest two hours and fifteen minutes of my life. No sooner had they stared, it was over. Mick was at the top of his game; he had a number of drum solos that absolutely rocked the world. Lindsey played as if he were possessed. His guitar solos were outstanding; at one point he even stepped down, off the stage, and let audience members strum his guitar. I nearly died laughing during one of his solos, when he was chasing Stevie around the stage. Stevie was awesome Rhiannon, Gold Dust Woman, Gypsy, were the best renditions I’ve ever heard. Virtually EVERYONE sang along with Landslide, it seemed as if Stevie really got a kick out of that. She danced (a bit) and twirled (a great deal), then I noticed that she’d changed to shoes that weren’t so stiff as her usual wears which made her much more mobile and graceful on stage. I was impressed with that! After their first encore a number of (silly) people were in the process of leaving, when she stepped out to sing Goodbye Baby. It was so moving that my wife wept. John, what can you say? He was classic, great, as usual. He’s just so cool. Pros: Best concert ever! I was amazed at how good each and every song was played. Cons: Some of the concert was mixed poorly. On more than a couple occasions, Stevie’s background singers drowned her out. Even more often, the vocals were lost because the instruments were over amplified. Overall: Despite the poor mixing, the concert was great, the best I’ve ever seen. I’d LOVE to see them again, if they’d just schedule DENVER!!! Thank you John, Stevie, Mick and Lindsey for the memorable evening!

I went to the Fleetwood Mac concert just this last Saturday. I was a bit upset at first when I heard that Christine McViegh was not going to be there. But I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the concert. The band members put on an amazing show. And even though Chrisitine was not there, the band did an excellent job! I could not get over Lindsey's amazing guitar and Stevie's captivating voice. They did not miss a beat. I actually got to go backstage and meet them and I wish that I could have conveyed to them just what their music has meant to me during my lifetime. I have been listening to them for 20+ years and I enjoyed this concert just as much as I have the ones of the past. Of course I am biased but that concert lists 1st on my list of favorite concerts. I live in Las Vegas so I get the privilage of seeing many great artists and I have a friend in the radio business out here and I get many good tickets, still Fleetwood Mac tops my list of favorites by far, there is no close second!

WE SAW THE VERY BEST ROCK CONCERT EVER PERFORMED! THE GROUP IS SO PROFESSIONAL AND IT IS EVIDENT THAT THEY HAVE PLAYED TOGETHER A LONG TIME, AND THEY SUPPORT EACH OTHER ON STAGE. THE SOUND WAS INCREDIBLE AND THE SONG SET WAS PERFECT. MS NICKS ROCKS? STEVIE WAS GORGEOUS AND HER VOICE WAS SO POWERFUL IT BLEW US A WAY. LINDSEY WAS AMAZING ON THE GUITARS AND HIS VOICE IS SO SEXY.

Where do I begin with this review... god, its like- i just witnessed this amazing event and still cannot articulate my thoughts BUT for the sake of you people, i will try- the Las Vegas show was soooo GROOOVY! They came out on the Chain and i just burst in to tears, when i was in 4th grade we had to make a list of things we wanted to do before its too late- looking back its a very morbid assignment but anyway- i had put down that i wanted to see a Fleetwood Mac concert. And on the 5th of July, i was able to put a check on that list. It felt really good... really really good- and they're energy was just exploding all over the arena. I personally loved Say Goodbye and Silver Springs. They were very moving and the connection was just surreal. I loved how Stevie just seems to get lost inside her tamborine- its fantastic. Mick's a maniac- and i say that in the best sense! He really is a king. John Mcvie- he makes a solid base line- nobody beats him. Lindsey is... STUNNING- i know that is a feminine word, but really he is absolutely stunning. His figure hasn't changed since '77. Not that i was there- being only 19, but i've seen pictures. He's a stud. ****Stevie**** you are still soaring... If you read this- you're light has only gotten brighter and you've made it- for me- okay to get older, because your passion lives on and you are still a girl. that is a constant in you! So thank you for your inspiration and rock on- your a gem.

I just got back this weekend from a Fleetwood Mac concert at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. I can only say "ditto" to all the other reviews! Fleetwood Mac isn't old and dried up yet! They can still rock! The show started around 8:30 lasted till around 11 pm. Stevie sounded awesome, Lindsey burned up the guitar strings, John was his usual shy self and Mick just rocked on the drums! If you haven't seen them yet, what are you waiting for! Go, Go, Go!!!!

I have a lot to tell everyone, but let me first say that the show itself was awesome! Lindsey's guitar playing is outstanding and Stevie's vocals and presence were amazing. She was in and out of her boots this night, trading them in for her cute little reeboks. Hey, she tried to wear the boots-those things must kill her feet. The crowd was rocking at the MGM Grand Arena. Now, for some interesting things that happened... My girlfriend Kim and I flew to Vegas just to see the Mac from San Diego. While in our taxi on the way to the hotel on July 4th, we saw the band's private jet parked in the executive airport lot. "They're here!" We stayed at the MGM Grand hotel during the trip and I told Kim to keep her eyes peeled for band members in the casino. Well, the night before the concert, I ran into Sharon Celani in the casino around midnight. She was with a gentleman and I called her name. She turned around to me and I told her that I just wanted her to know that I appreciated her work throughout the years and I"ll be seeing her tomorrow night. She was really sweet and said thank you and shook my hand. That was really cool, obviously, but what happened the next day really blew my mind! The morning of the day of the show, Kim and I were leaving our hotel room to go get our tickets. In the hallway, there was this little kid about 5 years old running around in front of us, laughing and goofing around. Kim said to me, Jeez, my Dad would've never let me run around like that in a hotel. We got towards the elevator and I looked to my right and saw a guy standing there who looked kinda like Lindsey Buckingham. I did a double-take and IT WAS Lindsay! I looked at Kim, and she said, I know, it's him! I said, come on, we gotta say Hi to him! She said no, because it was obvious he had just gotten out of bed. He was in his socks,a t-shirt and sweat pants and his hair was all tousled in the back. I thought, if he wanted to hide from people he wouldn't be standing there in the hall in front of his open door cracking up at his two kids. (the one running down the hall was one of them). So, wanting to make it short as he wasn't exacly in rock star mode, I walked up to him and said, "Lindsey, I love your work and am very much looking forward to the show tonight." He said, " Thank you. I'm glad you're coming and I hope you enjoy it." I said I'm sure I will. He then shook my hand and that was it. He was so gracious and his smile was fantastic. As I turned to leave, this little blond haired girl looked up at me and I heard her say, "Who was that lady, Daddy?" I didn't get to hear his response. As you can imagine, I was in total shock after that happened! It was so amazing because he was on the same floor as us! (19th) What are the odds? All of the major suites are on the 30th floor for that hotel. Lindsey's room was on the end, and was just slightly bigger than ours. I was able to see into it later that day as the maid had the door opened up while she was cleaning it. So, needless to say, we had a GREAT time in Vegas and have 3 more shows to go to. Maybe we'll run into Stevie next!!

My daughter Kimberly and I just returned from the show. It is the 10th time we have seen Fleetwood Mac/Stevie since the "97" tour The Dance. Each time we see a show we comment, "This show was the best yet. How can they/she get any better"? My dad died 4 months ago and early in the morning of the show, my dear mother passed away. After having few hours sleep in many days, I could have not have thought of a more perfect way to spend my evening. The show was fabulous and Stevie and Lindsey were playful, loose, and had a blast on stage. Lindsey's guitar playing was too much to put into words and Stevie's voice and movements were; well; AWESOME. Thank you Stevie for as always lifting my spirits and giving me hope.

Just made my 21st concert of Fleetwood Mac or Stevie! Always look forward to seeing the Mac or Stevie Nicks solo. Glad to hear a few numbers from the new Say You Will material but agree with others - Destiny Rules should have been kept in...one of my instant new Stevie favorites. I will not repeat the set list - after all, the one drawback about the Mac over recent years is the lack of orignal set lists....thank goodness we were fed a nice chestnut like Beautiful Child. Stevie was not into the show at all tonight!! Everytime she spoke in the mike it was only to say "thank you"...nothing else. When Linsdey wanted to play around with her during tusk...she wanted no part of it. After Landslide, Lindsey put his arm around her but Ms. Nicks did not even respond. I must say that her rendition of Stand Back was inspired and we even had the thrill of some signature twirls! Sad that her best number was not even a Mac number. This was sadly one of the least inspired shows I have seen her participate in :(. Maybe she was ill, who knows, but not a smile came across her face. Are any other fans in agreement who saw the Vegas show??? Well, I will again make the trip for the AZ Heart Foundation show this year and hope that the magic is back and by some miracle, maybe Destiny Rules will reappear. But alss, my support remains I am true in loyalty and opinion. The most tall tale sign of the night was when Stevie did not even dedicate Landslide to anyone...she just went right into the song. Something was wrong indeed.

I am 14 years old, so the concert at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas was the first time I have ever seen my favorite band live. The show exceeded my wildest expectations, and was easily one of the most incredible experiences of my life. It felt almost surreal, as if I was just watching another show about the band on VH1- I almost couldn't believe that it was actually them, right there in front of me. I arrived thirty minutes early and didn't leave my seat once. I was happy to hear many of the band's new songs off of "Say You Will" played along with the old favorites. It would have been easy for them to drop nearly all of the new material, but I'm so glad they didn't. "Stand Back" and "Gold Dust Woman" sounded amazing, and Lindsey's guitar solos were incredible. A lot of the people sitting around me seemed to get impatient with them after awhile, but Lindsey has to be one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Every member of the band had such energy and enthusiasm, and they all seemed to be genuinely enjoying themselves. The chemistry between Lindsey and Stevie is amazing- I noticed them mouthing things to each other several times (my lip reading skills are non-existent, so I don't know what). The hug they shared after "Landslide" was so sweet, but the anger and hurt that is still between them was evident during "Silver Springs". I'm so thankful they played "Beautiful Child", which has always been my favorite Fleetwood Mac song. I never expected to hear it live, but it sounded even better than it did on "Tusk", which I didn't think was possible. I was also thrilled to hear "World Turning", another one of my favorites- I didn't think I would enjoy Mick's drum solo, but it turned out to be one of the highlights of the concert. My hands were numb at the end of the show from clapping so hard- they're still a little redder than usual! I have already talked to just about every person I know about this concert, raving about it- I think I could go on and on for days about how wonderful it was. I couldn't have been more impressed with it. At the end, Mick called out, "And remember- the Mac is back!" They certainly are, and I hope they are around for a long, long time!

For someone who is a generation young to have followed or understand the trama that goes on within a relationship and how publicly a break-up can affect someone, i am old enough to know how "sweet" it can be to be able to be near each other and still "make great music together". i think my fellow spectators "crazy me, crazy women" allowed me to feel the power of Lindsey and Stevie's connection. And it for me wish that I could be civil with some one in my past that hurt / or hurt me at some point, and burry it with the past just like they have shown they can. As for the music, Stevie is 10 time more powerful of an artist with Mick Fleetwood behind her. I thought Lindsey would make the biggest impression on me, but Mick Fleetwood won out. And the bass is just different in Stand Back with John there. It was amazing to spend an evening with such "living history" as i was in the presence of Saturday July 5th......"i will not forget this night..."

On July 5, Fleetwood Mac performed in Las Vegas and my mom and I were able to go. WOW! There are seriously no words that could describe how phenomenal it was. From the second the concert started, I was floating out of my body; your talent allowed my whole body to just float, that just shows you guys how unbelievablly amazing you are. While singing Landslide I couldn't help but cry. I have watched most of your concerts on videos, and I have yet to find one with Beautiful Child on it, so when that song started, I was so shocked and felt so lucky to be able to experience you sing that live. You guys are truly talented people, thank you for everything your music has ever done for me. The only part I regret about the concert is that it had to end.
Joel
There are so many words to describe that concert. Let's just say I came home last night with a sore throat and ringing in my ears. I'm not a very expressive person, but they had me up and dancing and singing along. The sound at the MGM Garden Arena was a bit off, but for fans of Fleetwood Mac, that didn't stop us from understanding the songs!! There were even a few songs I had never heard before, so that was very exciting! Lindsey and Stevie were as active as they were in the 70's. You could see how close the group was as they moved with each other. Lindsey's voice is just so amazing. Stevie's voice sounds so very young and energetic. Mick's number during World Turning was just outstanding! John was as cool as ever. Last night was a night I will never forget as long as I live! I wish nothing but the absolute best for the Mac. Last night was music from the heart folks! Like Mick said at the very end, "The Mac Is Back!"

more reviews coming......
