Tonight's show in Phoenix was certainly Enchanting. It was so wonderful, the show began with Stevie's dad coming on stage and reading the meaning of the word Enchanted. He then introduced her, I thought that was so cool. Stevie looked great, and sounded even better. She rocked to the familiar songs and performed songs that were not too familiar to all, but they were just as powerful as the classics. Mick Fleetwood made a guest appearance and did a fantastic job on the drums. Towards the end of Edge of Seventeen, Stevie walked to the end of the stage and greeted the fans..she was shaking hand with the audience and enjoying every minute of it..she had the biggest smile while doing so..she really loves her fans and makes a point of showing it. Just when I though it couldn't get any better, Don Henley and Stevie sing Leather and Lace. The audience went wild when they began singing..and to end the evening, Stevie performed Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You. I felt like she was singing it to me..and I'm sure everyone else felt it also...she certainly knows how to rock the house....the night was "ENCHANTED"

There is truly no one as amazing as Stevie Nicks, and if there are any nonbelievers among us, I would challenge them to witness her show. I've seen far too many rock and roll concerts, but Stevie's performance tonight surpassed them all. I dragged three friends along (all of whom are now former nonbelievers in the encompassing power of Stevie) and we had pretty good seats to the right of the stage. I must say, the crowd was not as active as they should have been, at least in our section. We were dancing and got asked to sit down (ummm....nope-it's Stevie Nicks and sitting down is just NOT an option) and it seemed like many of them were there only to hear Rhiannon and Edge of Seventeen. Let's put it this way- there were people not dancing to Stand Back, and if you don't dance to Stand Back....well, you should seek professional help. But despite the lack of audience enthusiasm until the encore, Stevie gave a performance worthy of the queen that she is. Her father introduced her, which set the sweet tone for the evening. She sang all the classic songs (started with Outside the Rain, sang Gold Dust Woman, Rhiannon) and then she got to her "trilogy." I can't exactly remember the order in which she sang the songs, but I think she started with After the Glitter Fades. Stevie talked about how it was written when she moved to North Hollywood to find success in the music business with Lindsay. She sang and explained Garbo (written after the photo shoot for the Buckingham/Nicks cover. She said the shoot made her feel like Monroe or Garbo or somebody like that). She also sang Rose Garden and explained how it was written when she was young and felt destined for some sort of greatness. (She said she knew she was "never going to be a secretary.") These three songs were a highlight of the show, definitely some of the best ones she played. Stevie changes clothes about three times, and changes shawls four or five times. There are periods during the concert where she goes off stage to change, and at one of these breaks, her drummer begin playing the bongo drums. He is really, really good, and the tribal beat got people going.

Twisted sounds really good, as does Stand Back. (Watch the whole song or you'll miss that amazing kick at the end). Rhiannon had a kind of hard edge to the guitar parts, and it made the song sound new and fresh. Enchanted also sounds fabulous, and it really got people going. Edge of Seventeen is the closing crowd pleaser, but a major highlight of the show was Mick Fleetwood. He just appeared with no formal introduction, and started playing the bongo drums with the drummer during the costume change. However, there was trouble with the bongo drum (kind of weird- stage hands appeared and just took it away) so he played with one of Stevie's drummers on the same drum set for a while.The man is quite possibly the best drummer on the planet. He got the audience on their feet in amazement of his stellar bongo drum playing. And he keep saying things into the mics, but no one could understand what he was saying (but who really cares- it's Mick Fleetwood).The bongo drum was repaired or replaced or something because those magical stage hands appeared with another, and the man just went to town playing that drum. He obviously loves to perform and he went back and forth on the stage, playing up to both sides off the arena. He also played the bongo drum on Edge of Seventeen, adding a new flavor to the teenage anthem.

The only weird thing about the concert was Don Henley. They sang only Leather and Lace, and that wasn't until the encore (I thought that he might sing Tom Petty's part on Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, or something else) so some folks in the moody crowd were less then happy, but hey at least they sang one song (and you're at the Stevie Nicks concert, so just be happy). He looked really good, and Stevie talked about how she loves to perform with him, but that they only really see each other at benefits.

She dedicated Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You to Mick Fleetwood, because she "loves him." (Hmmmm....how the mind wonders) She also kept profusely thanking everyone throughout the concert for coming to the benefit, and told us that someday we would realize how important this was to her and others.

If you don't have tickets to her upcoming shows, you MUST BUY SOME because this is one of the most amazing concerts you'll ever go to, I promise. She talks to the audience extensively, which is so rare and truly beautiful. Stevie's obvious gratitude towards her fans radiates through every song and she thanks the audience at each break (and if you're in the front, she shakes hands, but it doesn't look likes she takes gifts). She is extraordinary, and if you miss this concert, you'll have missed one of the most angelic and beautiful people on the planet. She changed my life for the better, and I'm sure she'll change yours too.....

Oh my gosh I just got back from seeing Stevie in Phoenix. She was awesome!!! It was my first Stevie concert ever. I definitely wasn't disappointed. Okay, I'm going to try and remember everything, Boz opened at 8. He was really good. Unfortunately he had some technical difficulty in his 2nd number. But they played on while the techies fixed it. After his last number they set up Stevie's set, which looked beautiful. Everyone was so psyched, the energy was building. All of a sudden the lights go down and Chris Nicks and Stevie's dad step up to the mike. As everyone here knows, Chris read the definition of Enchanted from the dictionary, then Stevies dad said, "Everyone, please welcome, my daughter, Stevie Nicks." The crowd went wild! I've never seen anything like it! SO here comes Stevie, looking gorgeous of course. She does her usual medley of "Outside the Rain/Dreams." Afterwards she said it was great to be back in Phoenix, and gave the "this show is goiong to be different than any other show, since this is my boxed set tour" speech. Enchanted rocked. Then came "Gold Dust Woman." As soon as the music started, everyone knew what it was and started screaming. She mused that earlier she had been driving through Phoenix and passed Gold Dust Lane, or something, and thinks that might be where she got the name from. No one in my section seemed to want to stand, so I was the only one throughout the evening who stood for every number. I'm a little hazy on the order of the rest of the songs, but I'll tell as much as I remember. Gold and Braid-Fantastic! Twisted-Loved it. Whole Lotta Trouble-she totally rocked. The trilogy was absolutely beautiful. Rhiannon totally mesmerized me and the rest of the audience. SHe dedicated Landslide to her father and to the city of Phoenix. The entire arena was singing. Tears were in my eyes. Sleeping ANgel was just perfect. Then Lenny(?) started playing the bongos. I knew what was next. But all of a sudden comes Mick bounding on stage. He was not dressed in his usual stage outfit, but black jeans and shirt. He was having a blast. He had a bongo strapped to him , but there was something wrong so a techie came and took it, and Mick just went to the percussion area and started playing. He got the bongo back and was revving the audience for what was next. He kept gesturing for the audience to stand up and dance. Then came the guitar riffs for Edge of Seventeen. I was totally dancing at this point. She sang and collected flowers and stuffed animals, including a penguin I believe. SHe told us to stay safe so we could do this sgain soon. After a brief moment away, she returned and said (not exact quotes) "I can't tell you how happy I am to have this man here with me tonight. We only get to sing together when doing benefits. Thank goodness they're are lots of worthy causes. I would like to introduce to you Mr. Don Henley." Don comes out wearing a gray suit(?) with a light blue shirt on underneath. He get s athunderous welcome that takes several minutes to die down. Stevie and Don are just laughing as she points to him and bows. They do a beautiful rendition of Leather and LAce. I think Stevie was laughing at the end because the crowd was so into the song and kept screaming. As she was singing, Don kep nodding his head (I'm stronger than you know) or making funny hand gestures (when you walked into my house, you won't be walking out that door). It was really cute. Stevie then did "I Need to Know," saying before hand " I need to do a Tom Petty song." At the end of Has ANyone Written, she said " And when they ask about the men in her life" she pointed to the crowd and said, "and they do ask, yes they do." She brought everyone out for a final bow, saying she forgot to introduce Mick and everyone applauded for him. They all took their final bow and each wiggled their left foot. She left hand in hand with Don. It was, in all a perfect evening. Sorry this was so long, but my excitement took over. I hope I remembered everything.

Hi all,

Here's my adventure so far:

I left Boston Wednesday morning for the benefit concert in Phoenix. The traffic was heinous and it took 2 hours to get to the airport. Needless to say, I missed my flight and got put on a later one. I figured it must have happened for a reason and accepted it.

I got to Phoenix after a long day of traveling and met up with a couple of people from the Enchanted list. We had dinner at the Hard Rock café in Phoenix. They had a big Stevie display with a black cape with gold embroidery and some record awards there. Then we went to Planet Hollywood to chat about Stevie and have a couple of drinks. It was fun to talk to listers in person.

Thursday morning we left for the Silver Springs Emporium. What a glorious drive it is from Phoenix to Payson. It was wonderful. I wound up getting a turquoise, gauze handkerchief hemline skirt that Stevie once owned and a signed Other Side of the Mirror t-shirt. The woman there said that we could send for a list of items at any time. We ran into some people there that were going to the benefit because they heard about it on the Nicksfix. They weren't members of Enchanted, though. It was cool meeting them. We also signed the guest book.

Then we went to the dinner before the concert at Dr. Dorros' home. It was a beautiful place. Dinner was very heart smart. Some turkey, veggies, pasta, and sorbet. Then we got on the champagne bus to the concert!!! They played Rock a Little on the way to the venue. It was very fun. We got in the venue and moved to our seats in the front row J. Nancy realized her seat was dead center! Very cool. Mine was left of center, nothing to complain about. I'll have to post a review of the show later as I'm in Vegas now and I don't have time to go into the whole thing J Mick played some bongos on Edge of Seventeen and Don sang Leather and Lace with Stevie. It was awesome. I did get to hold both of Stevie's hands when she came to the edge of the stage. It was incredible! I cried like a baby when she walked away it was so powerful.

We went to the after party at Vincent's. It was crowded and chaotic. Stevie did show up and signed some things for people. She also accepted an award from the AZ Heart Institute. I happened to be near by so I snapped some good shots. She had on a chiffon, flowery dress. Nothing like her stage wear. Unfortunately she left before we all had a chance to meet her. I did not get to. It was a big let down because that was why I went out there. But the money I paid went to a good cause and I have no regrets.

I left Phoenix today and due to some confusion I missed my flight again. I was actually in tears because things had been so frustrating. But again I accepted my fate figuring there had to be a reason. I got a new flight and when I got to the terminal I recognized a woman there. I sat down next to her and she asked me if she had any crumbs on her face. She was eating a pretzel. I told her no and she said that she felt like she did. Then I peaked at her ticket to see if she was who I thought she was. Sure enough, she was! It was Sharon Celani. I introduced myself and I told her how I missed my chance to meet Stevie at Vincent's. She empathized with me. She was amazed at what I paid for the benefit ticket and that I had traveled all the way from Boston just to go. She was very easy to talk to, like talking to an old friend. Anyway, she said she wished she could get Stevie to meet me but that she has gotten in trouble in the past for arranging such things. So she offered the best she could do, BACK STAGE PASSES for Vegas!!! She said she would arrange them and I could pick them up at the box office. I am so excited! I know it is unlikely I will get to meet Stevie but I have never been back stage before and I think it will be fun! Sharon said I could hang with her in her dressing room if Stevie wasn't up for a meeting.

Needless to say I am in awe over this experience. AND I have this fabulous outfit to wear tomorrow night THANKS TO BEAR!!!!! I will have pics for you listers. My 2 girlfriends that are with me also have fabulous outfits to wear. It's gonna be such a blast! I will try to write again tomorrow. Take care everyone!!!!

I've seen Stevie several times, and her show is always full of vibrant life and energy. This beautiful woman knows what it takes to capture her audience. She puts 100% in all she does on stage, and delights her fans with total enchantment. Her Phoenix concert was just awesome! I can't wait to see her rock a little in Las Vegas.

After just turning 50, Stevie rocked the America West in Phoenix like she was still 20! Beining was the dictionary meanings of Enchanted. Then, her father proudly introduced Miss Stevie Nicks. Opening where the usual Outside the Rain flowing right into Dreams. Stevie couldn't thank the near capacity crowd enough for coming out for the show. Proceeds being donated to the Arizona Heart Institution. Telling the crowd how the boxed set CD collection enabled her to do songs she wouldn't normally do or has never done, she broke into Enchanted. Gold Dust Woman got the crowd back on their feet, She then introduced her "unusual" acoustic set, describing before each song, the moments which inspired her to write them. Flying down Gold Dust Ln in Scottsdale to heading out to Hollywood with Lindsey Buckingham to start a career in music with After the Glitter Fades. Gold and Braid, Garbo, and Rose Garden where included in the set with my personal favorite Sleeping Angel completing the acoustic set.

The house started to rock down again with a more rocking version of Stand Back and even giving the crowd a thumbs up and saying "rock n roll" to her band. The crowd then settled back in for Rhiannon. She introduced her band and rolled right into Whole Lotta Trouble. She dedicated Landslide once again to her father. The strength of her awesome voice was most evident with just her and an acoustic guitar. Twisted was another crowd pleaser. The drum solos came, the none other than Mick Fleetwood coming on to do the bongo. Though his shoulder strap broke on his drum, he climbed up with the percussionist and gave him a hand on percussions. The crowd was thrilled to see Mick on stage. He stayed while the band and Stevie did a rocking version of Edge of Seventeen. She thanked everyone again for coming. The crowd insisted on an encore, so Stevie came back out with her band, then introduced Don Henly. With the crowd on their feet more excited than ever, the sang their duo Leather and Lace. She ended the show with I Need to Know and Has Anyone Ever Written Anything for You. Stevie was all smiles while on stage, more excited than ever to be in front of her home crowd. This was only my second Stevie show, though my first trip to downtown Phoenix. Stevie' voice is as strong as ever, and "I Can't Wait" to see her perform again.

Just wanted to let you guys know that Stevie rocked her home town last night! Don Henley and Mick Fleetwood were great and of course, Stevie was amazing as always. Henley and Stevie did Leather and Lace together and were as cute as ever. They sounded perfect. It was a great show.

DORROS, FROM YOUR GLASS WALLS LOOKING RIGHT ON TO THE MOUNTAINS WHILE HAVING A FABULOUS DINNER BEFORE THE SHOW, (THANK YOU) THE SHOW FIRST OFF, AS SOON AS STEVIE NICKS CAME OUT, WHILE THE WHOLE PLACE WAS ROCKING,STEVIE HANDED ME FLOWERS, FOR ME SHE DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO SING, I FELT SO FORTUNATE, THEN SHE STARTED TO ROCK THE HOUSE DOWN, SHE SANG HER HEART OFF INTO EVERY SONG! - TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS FROM THE FIRST SONG TO THE LAST SONG - MICK FLEETWOOD WAS PRICELESS, SEEING THEM TOGETHER WAS WORTH ANYTHING AT ANY PRICE, DON HENLEY WAS GREAT, THEN AFTER THE SHOW WAS OVER WE WENT TO VINCENTS FOR A PRIVITE PARTY, BUT FANS WHO LOVE STEVIE AS MUCH AS WE ALL DO CAME ALSO, WHO WERE NOT INVITED, BUT THE PLACE WAS WAY TO SMALL ( VINCENTS ) TO HANDLE ALL THESE VERY HAPPY & EXCITED PEOPLE!! - RIGHT OR WRONG, I SAID TO MYSELF WHO CARES, I WENT TO SHOW, AND I LIVE IN NEW YORK!!! - BECAUSE, THIS WAS VERY IMPORTANT TO STEVIE NICKS, GETTING MONEY INTO THE ARIZONA HEART INSITUTE, AND THAT WAS WHY I WENT AND PAID 2000 FOR 2 SEATS, IT WAS MY WAY OF SAYING THANK YOU TO STEVIE NICKS FOR GIVING MY 20 YEARS OF THE BEST MUSIC AND STILL GOING STRONGER THEN EVER, SO FOR YOU STEVIE I THANK YOU & IT WAS MY PLEASURE TO HELP OUT AND ALSO MEET SOME OF THE BEST PEOPLE I NEVER KNEW BEFORE & MADE A COUPLE OF NEW FRIENDS FROM AZ TO CA TO REALLY ALL OVER THE COUNTRY,. AFTER SEEING ABOUT 500 PEOPLE COMING YOUR WAY......BUT YOU CANT BLAME THEM EITHER, THEY LOVE HER JUST AS MUCH AS WE DO, SO I SMILED WHEN I SEEN ALL THESE OTHER FANS WHO MAYBE DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY BUT WANTED TO MEET HER, I REALLY WANTED TO MEET HER BUT I ALSO KNEW HOW EVERYBODY WANTED TO ALSO, SO I WAS JUST HAPPY TO SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE LOVE HER, TO ME IT WAS BETTER TO SEE HOW MANY FANS ARE OUT THERE, FOR HER!!!! I RATHER HAVE MISS MEETING HER--- FOR THE REASON BEING SHE IS JUST TO LOVED & SHE IS ONLY 1 PERSON.........STEVIE & MR. & MRS. DORROS I THANK YOU ALL FOR THE BEST NIGHT I HAD IN 34 YEARS,,,,GOD BLESS TO ALL OF YOU, & NOW I AM BACK IN NEW YORK & GOING TO SLEEP. I GIVE THIS 5:00 TO 2:30, ALMOST 10 HOURS A BLAST!!!! It was the happiest Stevie has ever appeared in concert.I have never seen her flow like she did on stage July 23rd,1998 in Phoenix,Arizona.We in Arizona know she gives just that little extra- special magic that she saves for her hometown,and she proved us all right! Her comments about the men that have been in her life were so heartfelt,you could tell she was speaking the truth from a very deep chamber in her heart. Stand Back and Edge of Seventeen were THE hot songs of the night. She left the stage ,after her encore,holding Don Henley's hand and with Mick Fleetwood in tow right behind them. Sharon Celani didn't smile much throughout the night and the new girl,Mindy Stein,was a great accent to Stevie. It was fun listening to Stevie's accounts of her songs,life,friends and family.Her dad introduced her to the stage.........and began the night of enchantment.

well I just got home from Phoenix... and I have to say that Thursday was magical.. my wife and I attended the pre show party at the Arizona Heart Institute.. we didnt know anyone there.. and we dont seem to mingle well so we kinda just at at a table and observed... we chose the table closest to the bar so we could see everyone go by.. I saw John Kinney & Amy from nicksfix and a couple from germany & australia... after about an hour Mr & Mrs Nicks arrived... the were posing for lots of picturees but after maybe 10 or so minutes they grabbed some food and came and sat at our table! we had a nice 10 -15 minute chat with her as she ate, myself my wife and another couple from Northern Ca? we talked alot about the store and whats available there.. I even showed her a picture of my own "stevie shrine" of stuff I've gotten from her and framed... shes a lovely woman... before we left for the show I took a picture with her and she told me to mail it to her for her to sign! I was thrilled when we got to the show to see we had 7th row center seats! I brought a 35 MM camera with a zoom in and I'll know in a day or 2 how I did but I do expect to have at least 10-12 good shots of the show ... after the show we went to vincents.. where I was excited but didnt have my hopes up in case of a let down.. Stevie Don & Mick arrived and my wife and I got into the line to try and get to them.. it was hot and crowded but people were reasonable... a few minutes before we got to the table they took Stevie away.. we both met Don & Mick and had them sign stuff my wife wished Don a happy birthday which seemed to suprise him a bit.. just as I was finished they came back in with Stevie.. and I managed to slip back into the line and have Stevie sign for me.. I know I was VERY LUCKY to have managed to meet her for my 30 seconds.. I told her my name was Dennis and she smiled at me :).. she looked down to write and I said something like "Stevie, tonight was the 24th time I've seen you perform, and each show is more magical than the one before it" she looked up at me smiled again and said "Thank you Dennis, that was very nice thing for you to say" and that was it... after that I wandered around and got some of the bands signatures but didnt manage to get them all... I know that in Stevies world.. my 30 seconds was just a moment in time... but for me those 30 seconds were the moment of my LIFETIME...

I was able to see the concert again in Arizona. Stevie was all smiles on stage that night, and she thanked the audience numerous times for coming and supporting the benefit. She was extremely grateful to everyone for contributing to the Arizona Heart Institute. She was very happy and very sincere. Her singing was wonderful, and the band played great! Stevie was very personable and funny on stage while she talked in between the songs. "Leather and Lace" was sooo good. Don's voice was in fine shape..and Stevie and Don sang well together (of course..)! Later on in the evening I thanked Don for coming and singing "Leather and Lace" with Stevie! :)

We attended the dinner beforehand at the AHI. Some fans, Don and Marv, were staying at our hotel, so we met them and drove with them to AHI. It was so wonderful meeting all of the fans!! That was one of my favorite parts of the night! Then I saw Mr. and Mrs. Nicks. I introduced myself and said hi to Mrs. Nicks, and she was so nice, and I asked whether I could get a picture with her. She willingly said yes. We left the dinner and rode the bus to the concert....John, Marv, Don, Jason, Shannon, Clayre....and other fans! They also served champagne on the bus.

After the concert was the after party at Vincents. It was a little over-crowded in Vincent's (even Stevie's security guards looked a little shocked at the size of the crowd), but it was a lot of fun mingling with the fans. We were all excited about the possibility of seeing Stevie! All of a sudden, the band was inside mingling with the crowd, and Stevie, Don Henley and Mick were seated at a table (which was a bonus!). People lined up for autographs; some fans were able to get autographs. Stevie was presented with an award from AHI....and then went back to signing autographs. She must have stayed at Vincents for about an hour. As security was leading her out, she walked right by me. I said "Hi Stevie." And she turned to look at me, and we shook hands. She looked me right in the eyes as she shook my hand..and I said "Thank you, Stevie." And Stevie said "Take care" in her wonderful, caring tone. She seemed to really want to have contact as many fans as she could that night. The night was great...I met Don H. and Mick; Mindy Stein; and Boz's keyboard player, Kiki, who is extremely nice!! I told Mindy that I really liked the acoustic set...especially during "After the Glitter Fades" when she and Sharon hit the high notes echoing the line "the feeling remains." The band was just walking around mingling...it was cool!

Even from bumping my head on the overhead on the plane that morning, and from my little mishap with the bus door when running to catch the bus to drop my camera off...I still could remember the night clearly! :)

I would like to thank Stevie and her band for a wonderful, memorable evening!!!!!! Rock on!!!

The day seemed like it would never get here and then finally there I was being dropped off by my wonderful husband who paid some bucks for me to go to the AHI benefit. I walked into the AHI and was kind of scared to be by myself, and then I started meeting all kinds of really nice people just like me (snfan). I met John Kinney who is a really nice and cool person and does a wonderful, professional and tasteful job of the NICKSFIX. I also met a cool dude from LA Jason. I also got to met Stevie's mom and dad, her mom was so nice to me and took a picture with me. I met a lot more people but can't remember their names, but they all made the night a wonderful experience.

Then the whole AHI gang was bused to the America West Arena. The moment we were all waiting for after Boz finished they set up the stage for STEVIE. I was just in awe she looked so beautiful and her voice was in perfect harmony. My favorite part was the acoustic set with some of the band members. (ROSE GARDEN) It was a wonderful concert she did a fabulous job and I loved all the beautiful shawls.

The party at Vincent's was what I was really looking forward to, and I was shocked that they had 3 rock stars at a small restaurant with small rooms you could hardly get in and out of any of the rooms. I was kind of nervous cuz I didn't think I would get to met her. When they walked in through the kitchen, things got more confusing. They started signing at a table, so I made my way through and if it wasen't for ??? ( ELENA's friend that she sat with at the concert) I would have never got to met her cuz, he told me, go ahead of me and I did and there I was FACE TO FACE, I put my Enchanted box set down and said can you please sign this to Brenda, she smiled and did so, then her father came charging in and yelled at Stevie " Stevie hurry up we need you to accept an award now!!!" Stevie responded to her dad and got up immediately and did what she was told. So it cut my encounter short, but hey at least I got an encounter, and that I am thankful for and thanks to that guy who let me cut in before him. Cuz after that Stevie left within 10 minutes or so. She did not stay long, but I don't blame her, the place they picked for such an engagement was poor taste, not large enough and not organized.

The whole experience is one I will never forget, and met alot of wonderful people.

This was the second time for my husband, Dave and I to see Stevie. First, we had the incredible experience of meeting Stevie back stage after the Manassas, VA concert. But, I already talked about that... We flew out of Baltimore at 6am on July 23rd, landed in Texas and caught another flight to Phoenix. We had never been there before and were excited to see where Stevie grew up. We traveled around town and soaked in some sun before getting ready for the pre- concert party. We purchased the $200.00 tickets and enjoyed meeting other Stevie enthusiasts at the AHI benefit party. Our seats were not as close as the VA concert but they were in the center and we were happy just to be there. We could not believe that we actually flew across the country to see Stevie but she was so worth it!!!!

This concert just gets better and better. We were a little sad that we were not going to get the chance to meet her again...not to sound ungrateful...we just would have loved to go to the after party..who wouldn't? We arrived back to Hunt Valley, MD, just 34 hours after we left with less than six hours of sleep under our belts. The 3 hour jet lag was rough too but we had to see her again. Maybe if we are all lucky she'll tour again soon. Although I think Dave and I will she her a little closer to home next time. Ha ha. :-}

Hey everyone!!.

I'm back from Stevie's show!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Well actually its the morning after but that's ok. :) Anyway I've only had 3 hours sleep and I'm starting the post concert depression so I don't know HOW this is gonna turn out. So just try and bare with moi. There's gonna be A LOT of constant rambling (well you all know me by now so that's pretty normal to you right Hee hee!! Well my God HOW on earth can I describe this show!??! I'm just totally speechless!!! It STILL hasn't hit me that I just saw her!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!! Ok well let me start from somewhere in the beginning.

Well my Mum, my friend Beth, and myself arrived at the America West Arena around 7:00 PM. We went in and of course I HAD to do some shopping!! WOO WHOO!! I bought like 4 T-shirts, and 1 keychain, pin, teddy, and calender/tour book. I know that might be WAY too much but hey it might be a while before this happens again right?? RIGHT!! So I needed to stock up!! Ok then we found were we were sitting. It was a little way back but like I said the AWA is pretty small so no matter where you sat you still had a good view. I did have my binoculars though and that gave me a FABULOUS view!!! Well Boz Scaggs came on and I tell I REALLY had a blast with him. I absolutely LOVE his music now. My mom is a fan too so we were both dancing around (well really just dancing in our seats because we were just a little cramped.) Anyway he got a HUGE reaction from the crowd and he was so amazed with Phoenix. Gave many many many "thank yous" to everyone. What can I say I'm a fan!!.

Now on to the REALLY good stuff!!!! WOO WHOO!! Well after Boz was finished the roadies cleared his part of the stage and started setting up for Stevie. At this moment I am at the tippy toes of impatience!!!! I just wanted to scream " GET YOUR BUTTS IN GEAR ALREADY!!!! I WANT STEVIE!!!" But I stayed still and was shaking like a good little girl. :) Well then!! Its after 9:00 PM and The lights go out!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Everyone was screaming there heads off wanting Stevie to come out!! Giving Arizona's daughter the most AWESOME welcome home!!! Then I could see the band walking out and taking there places and I am nearly ready to explode by now. THEN I see Chris Nicks AND her daddy Jesse Nicks come out!! They talk to Carlos and someone else for a moment. Then Chris went up to the mic and gave his little Enchanted speech. Then Jess got to introduce "Ladies and Gentlemen. My daughter, Stevie Nicks!" Its was SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!! Just like the into in the "In Concert" video ( and he looks exactly the same too!! The beauty in the Nicks family REALLY shows through!! ;)

THEN THEN THEN THEN THEN THEN the music for "Outside the Rain" starts and then ................SHE COMES OUT!!! YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!! Stevie looking just ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL, ANGELIC, BEAUTIFUL, GLAMOUROUS, A MOVIE STAR, DID I SAY BEAUTIFUL?!?!?!??!?!? I just couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing at that moment. ANYWAY with the BIGGEST smile on her face she hugged her daddy and then proceeded to go to the left side of the audience and gave someone a bouquet of flowers. AWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! :) Then "Outside the Rain and the heart skips a beat.." I don't think I even FELT my heart because I was just totally having an outer Stevie body experience at this moment!!!! I was just floating man!! I tell ya I always watched her concert videos and always saw that she started her shows with "Outside the Rain" and" Dreams" and I NEVER thought I would get to experience that you know. I'm so glad I did though. :) She gave everyone her Welcome intro. I LOVED how much she got to talk and talk and talk and talk during the show!!! It was so cool about all she was talking about. OK now her first outfit was stunning. It was like her first outfit during the Dance tour except with a little glittery jacket and more chiffon of course!!

I can't believe HOW much weight she's lost!! EVEN more!! Like I said absolutely beautiful. NO ONE else can EVER match up to her!! She is just a classic lady. OK more on the show. .I was SO psyched that I FINALLY got to her "Enchanted" and "Gold and Braid" live!!! I mean when I saw G&B on the "In Concert" video I was just so excited that I was finally gonna get to see and hear that song with my own ears and eyes. And "Enchanted" is just one my FAVORITE songs of hers so that was a pleasure to hear too!! Now "Gold Dust Woman" I LOVED as always. She came out in the gold shawl that she wore during the Dance tour of course. OH!!! Did I mention that she just sounded SUPERB!!!!! Could her voice get ANY better then it is now?!??!?? I guess we'll have to wait and see!! She belted out that GAW holler with all her raw emotion and passion!! Chills just went sliding down my spine and back!!! :-o Then after the song she made a cute little comment about how she used to drive on Gold Dust Ave (or street I think) and she was saying that maybe unconscious that's where she came up with the song!! It was too funny and just so Stevie!!

Ok unfortunately there was no "Stop Draggin My Heart Around". :( I was kind of bummed about that but Stevie as always made up for it. Well then came the little acoustic/electric section. They were playing this really dreamy music and I though "A surprise song!!!" But it was just the set up music for the acoustic set. I LOVE it and it was so Stevie so I'm not complaining. :) Then she walks back out in this beautiful maroon long coat. Anyway then she does her little intro to the trilogy of hers. Before she sang "After the Glitter Fades" she started talking about how that was written after her and Lindsey moved to California. As soon as she said her and Lindsey....... "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" I think there are many believers in Phoenix cuz the crowd just went nuts when she mentioned the two of them. During instrumental of that song I could see that she was looking off stage but I couldn't see what. Then came "Garbo". She started talking about the cover of Buckingham Nicks and OF COURSE as soon as she mentioned that album another big uproar from the crowd!! It was like they were trying to hint "COME ON GET THIS CD RELEASED ALREADY!!!!" Hee hee!! Then came "Rose Garden". When she sang "You never promised me a leisure lifetime.." or one of those lines she looked at Carlos and shook her head. Inside thing?? Who knows!! Again it looked like she was singing off stage but I think she was just singing along with Sharon cuz I didn't see anyone back stage from wear I was sitting. ANYWAY ATGF, "Garbo", and "Rose Garden" were MORE songs that I was psyched to hear live!! All the voices of Stevie, Sharon and Mindy just blended just perfectly. It just sends you another place you know?? I know that sounds earthy and spacey but its true!! Well now came one of my NEW favorite songs "Sleeping Angel." I tell this song just TOTALLY choked me up BIG TIME!! I don't know why. "When she sings the line "Someday when were older and my hair is sliver gray..."It just start getting all froggy and I was so ready to lose it about a thousand times during that song. I don't know why but that song means so much to me now.

Well then the tears gone as soon as I hear the intro to "STAND BACK"!!! YES!! YES!! YES!! When I first heard that song being performed during the dance tour I was just stunned out of my mind. This time it was even MORE Spellbinding and Exciting and just SUPER PUMPED!!! The crowd REALLY REALLY REALLY got into this one!!! I mean EVERYONE was on their feet and just dancing there butts. How can you not with this song. Anyway it was also VERY VERY cool to see the Stand Back shawl that I've been seeing countless times on video. To see it in person was a very cool thing indeed!! During the instrumental she danced and danced! Well of course she really danced throughout the whole show but she REALLY got into this one!! While Carlos was doing his guitar solo she was just getting down dirty and just totally enjoying herself!! Then when the song came to its big end she gave Don (the bass player I mean) a big ass HIGH FIVE!!! I swear its just so wonderful to me to see her so happy. :) Then came "Rhiannon". I can't EVEN begin to describe how enchanting and moving this song is. I'll start crying again if I do. So just remember when you heard this song at your concert. Then you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.:) .Then came the intros for the band. Being the kind gentle and very generous person that she is she just loved EVERYONE as always. Then came "Whole Lotta Trouble" which just ROCKED!! Then came Landslide. Ever since I heard this song live the last time she was in Phoenix with the Mac I can not help but start bawling. Its IS MY ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE song. The ONE!! Its just timeless that song is but of course it just didn't sound the same without Lindsey. But her voice was still there singing those warming lovely harmonies. Maybe its silly and selfish to think I always like to feel that she's singing that song for me. :) Then came all the thunder and lightning and you knew "Twisted" was coming. WOW!!!! This was a kind of different version. Different then on the Box set and different then on the soundtrack!! It almost made me think that Eddy Van Halen was playing guitar cuz that's what it sounded like!! It was just ROCKIN!!! She was so cute in her bright red shawl too. OK NOW that song is done now comes Lenny's kick ass solo. That brought down the house. then it seems to end kind of short and I was wondering what was going on when who leaps out from nowhere but........................ MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!!!!!!!!!! He just popped out with his single drum and started playing the drum AND the crowd with way Mick always does.

The crowd was SOOOOOOOOO PSYCHED and cheering him on big time!! He had on his fiery red elf shoes and wearing back t-shirt and black jeans. Looking pretty good I must say!! Then after he was done with his little solo he walked up to Lenny's spot, picked up some sticks and they both started jamming together!! They just keeping going and going!! It just kicked ass!! Then as more of the other band members came back Mick got his little drum and then started "Edge if Seventeen!!" YAAAAAA!!! Mick stayed in for the WHOLE song just playing away in the back. Another HUGE roar to hear this one!! Stevie comes out with her white shawl and LONG silvery jacket and sang "Just like the white winged dove......." AHHHHHHHHHH!! NEVER heard this song live for myself and it was another song that brought out the tears in me. Especially when it came to when they were singing "I hear call of a Nightbird..." I don't know why but that line just sends me this emotional mystical power that I just can't describe. Totally wanted to bawl again!! She did her walk down and handshakes with the people in front. It was funny but she really wasn't taking anything that people wanted to give. Hmmmmmmmmm?? Maybe something to do with that stalker or something. Who knows. I guess she wanted to be on the safe side. Or maybe she just wanted to shake more hands of her people. :)They just basically threw the dolls and flowers (and a HUGE yellow pinwheel??) up on stage. Then the song was done and everyone including Mick took their bows.

Well then you would think after this song Stevie and the band would go off stage and wait for the encore but no they stayed on. Stevie went up to the mic and started to say "I would like to introduce someone to you..." She didn't have to even say more cuz we knew who was coming on stage. Yup!! Mr. Don Henley himself!! Now the crowd was just lost it this time!! He walked out on stage looking good (but funny he was wearing a black suit and blue shirt. Hmmmmmm?? Who's he trying to look like??? Hmmmmmm???) Well anyway he came out and then.....you guessed it!!! "Leather and Lace" started!! WOO WHOO!! I'm sorry I just think this is such a cute song!! I'm sorry AGAIN but Don and Stevie looked so cute singing it too!! It was just so wonderful to see something rare that I wouldn't get to see much live you know?? While Don was singing his part Stevie stood behind him smiling and rocking back and forth. Just totally glowing (not as much as with Lindsey though :) Anyway then that song got a HUGE round of applause and Don gave Stevie a hug and they and the band walked off and came back again!! WOO WHOO!! She did "I Need to Know" which everyone got down to including Stevie with her tambourine playing and twirls ( and yes she did a good amount of them if I forgot to mention. :) Then she dedicated "Has Anyone ever written...." to Mick because "I just love him so much." Awwwwwwww!! Well that song was the really choker for me. It was the first song I listened to the day that Toni died. Throughout that whole song all I did was think about her and it was finally hitting me about her and its hard to take. Its getting me all choked up now as I'm writing this!! When she sang "Has anyone every given anything to you." Through the watered up tears I was able to say "Someone sure has." Sounds corny but its what I felt. Then when she sang "I want you to remember me." That was a REAL heart-tugger for SO many reasons. Then she gave her little speech about the men in her life being poets. Soon the song ended. Everyone including Don and Mick come out for one final bow Stevie couldn't thank Phoenix enough and said that she will come back at the end of the tour. Then they all walked off and that was the end. It ended just WAY too soon. I never wanted it to end. :(.

Anyway everything was simply perfect for me last night. She just places herself on another level of amazement every time I see her. She is not human. She IS an Angel. Thank you Stevie. :) I just want so much happiness for her. I hope she's already got that now. Well now the show is over and depressing is REALLY sinking in and reality of this week is hitting me again. I hate it when those two most special hours are gone from me. So I'm gonna cuddle up with my little Enchanted teddybear (I named him Glitter:) and just cry for a long time. Well I hope you enjoyed this review everyone.
