VIRGINIA BEACH -- Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac's mysterious enchantress, bedazzled some 10,000 fans at the GTE Virginia Beach Ampitheater on Tuesday night.

The rock music goddess, dressed in a long, flowing black lace dress, wasted no time capturing the magic of the supergroup with "Dreams". Nicks attracted a wide variety of fans--from the dressed-in-black types to young children to the 50-year old conservative types.

Joined by a nine-piece band, Nicks pressed on with "Enchanted", the title track of her new three-disc box set. Its country flavor made it an uplifting, fun song that the audience thoroughly loved. "Gold Dust Woman" was without a doubt the most captivating piece of the night. Nicks and her guitarist teamed up nicely for "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around".

In a soft moment, the singer self-indulged in a trio of Hollywood inspired pieces: "After the Glitter Fades", "Garbo", and "Rose Garden". Her ageless voice intact, Nicks was excellent throughout on her solo as well as Mac hits.

On his first journey to Virginia Beach, Boz Scaggs opened with the blues before downshifting to the acoustic ballad, "Sierra". A copious supply of Hammond B-3 organ and guitar work by Scaggs gave oomph to "I've Got Your Love" from 1997's "Come On Home".

The upbeat megahit "Lido Shuffle" served as an impressive encore as fans gave it their all, singing along with Scaggs' dynamite backup vocalists.
