September 14, 1999: Stevie joined Sheryl Crow for a free concert in Central Park in New York. Sheryl Crow was the host for the event. The concert benefited Pediatric AIDS and included artists Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Sarah McLachlan, Chrissie Hynde, the Dixie Chicks and others. November 4, 1998: Stevie performed at the City of Hope's benefit, The Spirit of Life Award Dinner. The event took place at the Barker Hangar at Santa Monica Airport in California. September 26, 1998: Stevie performed at a benefit at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. The benefit was hosted by Andre Agassi and benefitted the Andre Agassi Foundation, an organization for underprivileged children. April 16, 1998: Stevie performed at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles, CA for the Stormy Weather benefit. It was a benefit for Don Henley's Walden Woods project and the Thoreau Institute at Walden Pond. The organization has been working since 1990 to preserve the land around Walden Pond in Concord, Massachusetts where Henry David Thoreau lived and wrote. The singers at Stormy Weather included Sandra Bernhard, Bjork, Natalie Cole, Paula Cole, Shawn Colvin, Sheryl Crow, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, Gwen Stefani and Trisha Yearwood. Stevie performed two songs; "When Sunny Gets Blue", and the Etta James classic "At Last". She was accompanied by the El Nino Orchestra. Read the reviews.

December 19, 1997: Stevie played the part of The Ghost of Christmas Past in the annual KTAR radio (Phoenix, AZ) broadcast of "A Christmas Carol." The play was performed at Herberger Theatre in Phoenix, AZ. The play benefits the Salvation Army. Stevie has participated in this play for three years now . Read details about the performance.

March 9, 1997: Stevie performed at the Union Hall in Phoenix, AZ in a concert to benefit the Southwest Center for Biological Diversity. Don Henley was the host for this event. Stevie performed four songs. Don Henley joined her for Leather and Lace. Also performing were Roger McGuinn, Bruce Hornsby and Timothy B. Schmit. August 24, 1996: Stevie performed a benefit concert at Polaris Amphitheatre in Columbus Ohio. WNCI (97.9) radio station in Columbus, OH hosted this event. The concert celebrated the 35th anniversary of the radio station. The proceeds went to Kids in Camp, which is a foundation for children with cancer. Read reviews of the show.

April 22, 1996: Stevie performed at the 25 year anniversary/benefit for the Arizona Heart Institute. The event was held at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Edward Dietrich in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Dietrich is the founder of the Institute and Jess Nicks (Stevie's father) is the chairman. Dinner was provided by Chef Vincent Guerithault. This was a very intimate setting on the patio of Dr. Dietrich's home on a beautiful Sunday evening. This event was invitation only, and most of the 200 guests were involved with the Heart Institute.
